I have read this before, but I had already purchased it, so I installed it. On the dyno, my car made 15.2 psi. My Ecoboost gauge showed dead on 15, so it’s pretty close. At least on my car
There’s a DI pressure sensor that would problem #1. And I still believe that would just be one of many. Maybe you know something I don’t. Give it a try
Without the DI, your PCM is gonna wonder WTF is going on, your dash is gonna light up like a Christmas tree and you’re in for a nightmare in tuning issues.
There’s a post on here somewhere where a member actually slid aftermarket tips over his OEM ones and mounted it that way. They looked great. If you weren’t so far away, I’d give you mine!
I had Carlyle Racing install my L2 triple. I had planned on just running all 3 pumps all the time. They convinced me to run the Hobbs switch. Mark said they’ve installed hundreds of the Fore systems, all set up the same way and have yet to see the switch fail on any of them. Fingers crossed!
