  1. For those who procharged or GSS, did it fix the low end torque issue?

If youre driving on the street, low end torque becomes problematic sometimes which personally is the exact reason i went manual trans with ess as i plan on making 900whp but not have drag radials. A whipple would be hell to drive like that in the street
  2. For those who procharged or GSS, did it fix the low end torque issue?

If your goal is to reduce torque that is available in the low and mid range to be comparable to a centri, then why not go for a centri? Op wants a centri which is meant to be for setups that dont have low end power requirements, but treats it like an issue that is to be fixed. Its simply the...
  3. For those who procharged or GSS, did it fix the low end torque issue?

I dont quite understand, you want a procharger setup with low end torque, but a whipple or equivalent is not good because it has too much down low….. theres no setup that allows you to have low end power and not blow tires off. The idea of alot of power with low rpm, which means low wheel speed...
  4. For those who procharged or GSS, did it fix the low end torque issue?

The lack of low end torque was never a issue, just a characteristic. If you are talking about the low rpm bucking, thats tuner related, wengerd does a great job of mitigating it
  5. 125,000 oil change - what oil to use?

I like castrol edge euro formula - has alot of certifications for boost and overall a decent oil, they make bmw oem oil
  6. Daily Driving A Boosted GT?

For now, yes Eventually il look into some viking shocks, but mine only have 20k miles on them currently, i put the springs on when they had 4k miles For street, stock shocks are good, just wont last to 100k with 1” lowered
  7. Need recommendations on hellion sleeper vs ess vs whipple

Hes probably talking about fuel system, injectors, e85 compatible stuff even though its not necessary. A full max effort 93 setup which is ready to accept a fuel system to make enough power to need a built motor costs 8500$ plus tune and device. Thats what i paid. Other setups are cheaper
  8. Need recommendations on hellion sleeper vs ess vs whipple

I dont drive my stang daily, as i do too much milage nowadays, but before i got other cars i used to drive in the rain, snow, etc all conditions, ive never wanted to drive the stang and didnt due to conditions. Anyways, i drive all modified cars making more power than stock, all boosted except...
  9. Centri or pd for a 6 spd car

So would you prefer whipple/vmp or the magnuson?
  10. Centri or pd for a 6 spd car

Do yall like vmp or whipple? I know whipple is more top and vmp is more low/mid heavy, but based off dynos it seems very similar
  11. Down pipe question

Downpipes? This is a post for 2.3 ecoboost, you should only have one… Anyways like others have said, your tune must not be great cuz on e30, downpipes should make a massive change on larger turbos
  12. Down pipe question

You need a tune to gain effects of catless… and smell is normal for catless… High flow cats are an option
  13. Down pipe question

Catless downpipe + borla atack Its loud but sounds decent Heres some clips of my old eco
  14. Catless fumes in cabin

If ur going to the extend of welding all connections, just get v band clamps installed…
  15. Catless fumes in cabin

Most of your fumes are coming from having your ac or heat on which takes air from your battery area. The fumes come from the exhaust gas out of your exhaust tips, when you slow down or stop, the fumes continue to travel at a greater velocity than you and you then suck them up as they pass you...
  16. My first FI build.

Thats very normal in winer for catch cans, thats y they recommend in the fine print to take them out in cold weather The condensation in the can causes it, and typically wintertime u gotta empty the catchcan way more often because of the water. It rarely evaportates as well as it doesnt get hot...
  17. Lightest IC for upgrade

Yall are really wanting to swap turbo instead of upgrade intercooler……… Or did yall forget what the original op point was? To find a light intercooler upgrade Yes there are cars with millions of dollars invested to make 1000hp on pump gas…. But not 2.3 ecoboosts made for the slow drivers of...
  18. Lightest IC for upgrade

Brother, a zr1 has a good 5.5L motor to make 600hp without the turbos. They can afford huge turbos that come on later. A 2.3L cannot use huge turbos. You push the powerband up with bigger turbos, with 180hp without boost the car will feel awful, not to mention a stock turbo can already push...
  19. Lightest IC for upgrade

Most dont get the use out of a bigger turbo. Without e85, its pointless, and most dont go e85 in ecos
  20. Lightest IC for upgrade

All true Except this is an eb, which means nobody spends serious money or engineering on it, which means nobody will make a god tier intercooler for it as no one will afford it. Eb needs better cooling than factory, the stock is hardly good enough. Adding a few lbs is worth the reliability...
