Thanks CJ. I appreciate the input
Let me give you the full story:
Not too long ago I bought a 2008 Bullitt with 24,000 miles. Despite being heavily modified, it is in great shape, no issues or codes, and runs like a daily driver. I want to keep it as a “grocery getter” - which it is now...
Well, you’re in a good position with having a Bullitt already! It’s an excellent car.
Find a GT350 to take a test ride and get it out of your system. This alone will make you decide whether it’s the right car for YOU.
It’s a different animal altogether. Not saying better or worse than your...
So a few more questions and answers may help.
Are you satisfied with your 19?
Is this trade some thing you’re just kicking around, or are you looking for a “new” ride?
What trade-in value are they giving you for your 19?
Have you test driven the this GT 350? What did you think?
Do you plan...
I have a 2008 bullitt, with full length headers, no cats, X pipe, bullitt mufflers.
it is very loud
I am going to put on some high flow cats, and was wondering if changing the headers would make a difference, from full length to Shorty.
I don’t want to go back to the stock manifold.
Would...
Well, I have a 16, so I’m a little bit biased!
But if you look at a 16: First, make sure you get a track package, which became standard On 17+. Second, make sure you consider getting a Ford ESP no matter what year you buy. This will alleviate many concerns in the long run.
As far as prices...
I just posted over in the GT 350 section how much prices have gone up for used 350s over the past year.
The first column is the average price the second column is 30 day change, the 90 day change, then year change. This excludes GT 350s and 500s
Take Blue Moon's advice about the stripes and try it out. Hell, you can mock-up the spoiler with blue masking tape first to get an idea!
I have an oxford white GT350 with blue OTT stripe, so . . .. My opinion - leave the spoiler black and run the stripes under.
Now, if you want a color...
No! I was just speaking generically. I have exactly what I want in my car.
I was just building on with 460 said, about the balance between compromising, not compromising, and then after moving on seeing plenty of out there that weren’t available when you were looking. For any purchase, not just...
I bought about a year ago and ***seems*** that I need about $5K more to start negotiating for same mileage / options / clean history, etc. Grabber Blue - great color! Good luck!
I was browsing the usual sites just out of curiosity - cargurus, autotrader, etc. It seemed like prices have jumped about $5000+ from about year ago.
Have you noticed any increase? Am I imagining this?
Short answers:
1. Many variables go into the extended warranty, is it a CPO, how long do you plan on holding on to the car, miles you intend to drive per year, etc. Read up on “Ford ESP” plans for a ton of info/options. Many sites will allow you to plug in your van to find out exactly what the...
From Left to Right:
GT350
Hazard - Traction Control - Launch Control - Exhaust Mode (normal/sport)
EB/GT:
Hazard - Traction Control - Steering (3-modes) - Drive Modes (rotates through 5?? modes)
On the GT350, the steering modes and drive modes are accesses through a button on the steering...
Also, I ***think*** these are for BASE model button to toggle conversions = 3 button to 3 toggle, not 4. If so, too wide.
"This toggle assembly will completely replace your boring factory buttons for hazard, traction control, and steering mode"
I get what you're saying, but don't know. It would be a effort to source the rarer GT350 bezel / switches (time and $$$ - I know, I've done it), and then who knows . . .
I like your shapways alternative.
