Yes, and the sounds weren't just in my head. Ford did an awful job at mitigating unwanted cabin noise. Soon, it will be better.

I was able to ID a couple of additional components today and have updated the 1st post. Additionally, I looked at numerous other amplifiers produced by HARMON. I confirmed they all have the unusual USB port, raising my hopes that it is for the DSP chip.

@Evolvd, do you still have the B&O speakers lying around? I'd like to double-check the part numbers I recorded. My Mach 1 was built during peak COVID, and I'm starting to wonder if there was a part substitution for the rear 6.5 speakers.

After looking at what feels like hundreds of photos of wrecked Mustangs and their speakers, I can say that the B&O system has four unique speakers compared to other Mustang systems. I also have a B&O amplifier on the way to dissect.

@omiga I've got a B&O amplifier on the way. I should have it late next week. I'll open it up and take some detailed photos for you.

I wonder if there was a hardware change at some point. My Mach 1 rear speakers are clearly marked 2 ohms.

Find a new dealership, and call around before you do. I brought my Mach 1 in for transmission TSB-24-2101. The dealership had it out of their shop in 2 weeks with a new valve body. If the harsh 4-5 shifting continues, full transmission replacement is next. Seeing how your transmission grenade...

Update: seems to be 90% better in normal mode. Sport mode 4-5 shifts so hard that I'm concerned it's ripping the transmission mount. I will give it another 100 miles or so before making an appointment again.
