  1. Reliability of 5.2 with Whipple

My 2017 is still running strong. Over 16000 hard miles on the current Whipple setup and 3.625 pulley. The only problems Ive had were with torn CV boots and I burned up the factory clutch last weekend. Not bad for a 850rwhp car on pump 93.
  2. Boosted 350's come on in!

None, outside of the intake manifold (supercharger) and headers my engine is factory stock. 790rwhp to 835rwhp depending on the Dyno at 9psi on 93 octane. It may make more on MS109 but it’s been awhile since it’s been on a Dyno
  3. Boosted 350's come on in!

All correct, but there are a lot of us now that have been boosting these things for years now without issues. They seem to favor the Whipple and the turbochargers. My car now has 14,000 miles on it and has had the Whipple on since the odometer read 2000ish. Those that I know of who have broken...
  4. Boosted 350's come on in!

Ford released that the upgrades have allowed the GT350 test mules to hold a sustained 12psi. Confirmed Changes Overall The Gen 2 5.2 can withstand 12 psi of sustained boost (Confirmed by article) Romeo Niche Line engines are now only built by a single builder (Evidenced by 2019 Build Plates...
  5. Boosted 350's come on in!

90% of my Gt350's life has been spent above 800RWHP, 12,000 supercharged miles now and 2.5 years under boost. Still on stock OPG's, and whipple tuning, zero issues.... The Voodoo is extremely capable.
  6. Boosted 350's come on in!

I will agree with this. On the old cal, mine used to instantly flare up to 2000rpms at startup and knock slightly. It was completely embarrassing at times. New cal is much nicer in a lot of areas.
  7. Forgot to show you guys, Whippled GT350 Fun and Sounds

Yeah nothing like that on mine at all, mine drives like its stock under 4k rpms and less than 50% pedal. Id assume its tune related.
  8. Forgot to show you guys, Whippled GT350 Fun and Sounds

Currently have the 3.75 pulley installed. Lately I’ve been running VP MS109, but if I’m going on a cruise or using the car a lot I’ll run 93 with the Snow Meth kit. I’ve been boosted for about 8500+ miles now with no issues at all. 790rwhp to 835rwhp depending on which dyno you ask. I go through...
  9. Broken Crankshafts? Really?

I am aware of one semi local guy in Texas that snapped his crank snout fairly quickly running a F1A procharger upwards of 900hp on his 350. Mine has been Whippled for 1.5 years and has had roughly 10,000 supercharged miles with no problems YET @800+ rwhp. Mine sees regular third and 4th gear...
  10. Boosted 350's come on in!

I replaced the driver side halfshaft on mine under warranty. The shaft itself was fine but somewhere along the line it tore the CV boot and slung axle grease everywhere. Ford replaced it without issue
  11. Boosted 350's come on in!

I’ll log some data tomorrow and post it up.
  12. Boosted 350's come on in!

I got bored today and bought 10 gallons of MS109 then licensed the Gt350 on my HPTuners cable. I Changed the stoich in the whipple tune to 13.41 with no other changes then reflashed. Now, the car is an entirely different animal on 100% ms109, pulls harder than ever before above 4500rpms. I...
  13. Boosted 350's come on in!

The only time I hear or feel anything NVH related is in first gear under really light acceleration at or around 3500rpms. This problem was also there in stock trim, so I can’t really say the blower added to it or anything
  14. Boosted 350's come on in!

Wasn't the Grey Lethal car a one off custom built gen2 Whipple kit from a standard GT? I have the newer Gen3 on mine, from my understanding the Gen3 blowers have better cooling characteristics allowing them to make more power with less boost over the previous gens. Most the guys I know with...
  15. Boosted 350's come on in!

SAE Corrected on the 834, and I dont know what to say besides I don't know on how or why lol. Here it is on the same setup two months later on a different Dyno. The only major difference was this was on a humid night after an hour long TX2k cruise, and they ran it with little airflow and 139...
  16. Boosted 350's come on in!

These were actually on the whipple tune and 93 octane before the meth in a 44 degree shop. The torque curve on this chart is screwy and the shop never gave me any explanation as to why.
  17. Boosted 350's come on in!

Airbox design, rotor efficiency, Sound deadening in car etc.... I only hear mine in the top of 3rd, and in 4th
  18. Boosted 350's come on in!

Yes, 93 Octane with 40/60 mix water/ meth at the moment.
  19. Boosted 350's come on in!

2017 Gt350, Whipple Gen3, 3.75 pulley, Kooks Longtubes, Magnaflow catback, Snow meth injection, 9-11PSI 800-835rwhp depending on dyno. Put the blower on at 2k miles, now have over 12k and absolutely zero issues. Pros- it is an absolute destroyer of souls on the freeway from a 60 roll. The...
  20. Who is trading in for the new GT500?

Ill entertain the idea in 2021 once the marketing buzz falls off and the dealers return to reality. I love the new car in Legendary Silver, but ill probably just buy it and not trade anything in.
