If you absolutely want to track the car, and money isn't that big of an issue, then I would do it. But did you pay over MSRP for the 2016? Did you pay sales tax? are you willing to eat all that loss to get the new car? I just wasn't.

Some days it works fine, but recently I've had days where the A/C blows but not cold at all, no matter what I do. Then next couple of days I've had it work fine again. One day it wouldn't blow cold until I put the driver's seat cooler on. Any ideas what's going on?

Why is there no warning indicator, light or message that you're overheating the driveline when the car goes into limp mode?

Actually, I'm not sure the proximity of the cats is the problem. Somewhere in the many posts on this issue someone had either removed the cats or heat wrapped the area and the car still went into limp mode on track.
