For those of you that are selling your Blower and purchasing the Gen3 unit, make sure you keep your Pulley. The Gen3 won't have a pulley. You will reuse yours, and the customer who purchased the parts package will include a new pulley.

Off the top of my head I think the Stage 2 parts kit is $4500. You could spend upwards of 3500 for a take off and still come out ahead, and I think that will be on the high end for what they go for.

It's still to early to tell, unfortunately. All of the Gen 3 news was just released yesterday, so no real comparisons between different applications just yet. Gen3 kits will start shipping in a few weeks, so it wont be long before we have more information and more numbers with different set...

Yes, they are currently in the works for a kit. Once developed and tested, it will actually work all the way back to 2011. They are still a few Months out, but it is certainly on the way. Matt

It's $3900 for the Gen3 upgrade, and $1050 for the 150mm TB option. In addition to that cost you will need to provide your own donor 11-14 TB for the electronics.

It may not be worth it to some, but I'm sure it will be worth it to more when it's only 900-1200 to upgrade. The complete price point is a variable based on how much you sell your take off blower for, and you can certainly see more than 30 HP depending on your mods.

They do not. Whipple is currently working on a new part number, so once that's released we will add it to the site. Basically, there will be three parts numbers associated with it. The cost to machine the inlet, the cost for the actual TB, and then the carbon fiber tube and silicone hose...

As Whipple said, there will definitely be a market for it. Someone else asked about selling the Upper, and what it would be valued at. Obviously its up to the seller, but I would think you should be able to get at least $2500-3000 for it. That would put you out around $1000 plus labor for 30+...

That is correct. The cost above is if someone purchased the Gen2 system from someone. If you are upgrading to the Gen3 on your current system, it would be $3900.

You will be removing the Blower. You don't swap rotors or anything. You are removing and swapping the actual Blower.

Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to hit that timeline. We'll be looking at 1-2 weeks before they ship from Whipple, then some transit time on top of that.
