You actually want to change the order before you get a VIN, because once they give you a VIN they have "set aside" parts for your car.

There's still a chance you can get a VIN throughout he day, it has happend before, although usually everyone does get them in a span of 10 minutes all at once.

Once you move into production, your window sticker will work the next day, and then you should get a estimated delivery date and a coun down timer, it usually starts around when you go into production at like 27-30 days.

That's just a place holder date, Im sure whenever your car is produced and COTUS is updated, that date will change. My build date was 10/21 last time I checked and mine says the same as yours on ETIS. ETIS really doesn't show anything more then COTUS does regarding tracking.
