  1. Anyone else notice increased road rage toward you?

The Zipper Method is the correct way, and it does mean waiting until the lane is ending. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merge_(traffic) If used correctly (and the people that merged early actually allow you to merge and not block you out of moral superiority) traffic moves much quicker than...
  2. Early Lease Termination

If you're trading for a newer Mustang, the dealer may be motivated to make you a "deal" but they are under no obligation to do so. It's a legal contract and you're obligated to see it to completion.
  3. Tonneau covers, what to do with 'em?

I think their main purpose is to clean up the appearance when the top is down, like if you're showing it off. Car show, cars & coffee, etc.
  4. BLIS Poll for current owners

BLISS was part of the package I ordered so I didn't give it much thought at the time. Fast forward over a year later and I'm driving in uptown Dallas in the early morning hours (pitch black darkness), it's pouring rain, and there's way more traffic than there should be. I see cones ahead so my...
  5. Parade seating

Don't know, but now I'm curious too!
  6. '15 Guard Green GT convertible value?

    Kelly Blue Book dot com.
  7. Anyone else notice this???

I think your traction control is off. (Sorry, couldn't resist.) Also, did you discover the sunglasses holder?
  8. Anyone else notice increased road rage toward you?

Can't speak for your area but in my experience (in Texas) the drivers of big rigs are professional and courteous. I've had several pull into the left lane ahead of me (some a bit closer than I prefer) so I just slow down and allow them to pass whoever they're trying to get ahead of. It takes a...
  9. Safest Place To Store Your Mustang During A Hurricane

I answered the poll "other option" before reading through the thread, because loading up the Mustang and leaving Florida would be my first choice. Since that's not an option, the parking garage as others have noted would be a good solution. Just note that only now are the last of the flood...
  10. Will probably switch back to BMW. (No, not a troll!)

So you're thinking of paying $2k more for a car with less room and less engine? I don't have any personal experience with BMW autos (love their bikes) but friends who own them seem to have a lot of issues post-warranty. You seem to buy a lot of cars so long term reliability may not matter to...
  11. Oil Change Question

I would change it after winter storage and not before. The assumption being you'll drive it "more" next year than you have up to now. I think some folks are just getting hung up on the extreme low mileage. Your car isn't even broke in yet, and a lot of us feel you should "get your money's...
  12. 2015+ mustang GT Convertible - rear subframe brace?

Agreed. A year or two from now when your doors no longer open or close properly you'll miss the additional structural reinforcement. Sooner if you indulge in "performance" driving that stresses the chassis.
  13. STRIPES for Convertibles - What do you have or have planned??

Looks great, and is the first Guard vert I've seen with any stripes.
  14. Impressions: Coupe to Convertible

Welcome to the club! I'm on my 4th Mustang (2nd vert) and love it. Hope you get the vibration issues worked out soon so you can enjoy how smooth these cars really are. Couple of quick comments; I also love the trunk space, especially compared to a Camaro or my sister-in-law's Chrysler...
  15. Seat Belt Shoulder Harness Digs Into My Neck

Trade for a convertible. The problem you described is a non-issue in the ragtops.
  16. Dumb question about adaptive cruise

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Under the right circumstances I'll sometimes downshift instead of using the brakes and *knock on wood* the perfect idiot has so far failed to rear-end me.
  17. 3 weeks...3000 miles

I did the same thing back in 2000 when I bought my first new car, a GT vert. I went 3,000 miles in 3 weeks, all with the top down (gotta love Texas in March). This time around I'm older and a bit more laid back. Not a lot of miles, but I LOVE driving it!
  18. Convoluted path to my new 2017 GT Convertible

Welcome to the ragtop club! Sweet ride.
  19. Do you ever hit the wrong button?

Happened again last weekend leaving a gun store. Embarrassing.
  20. What feature did you discovered today

This thread seems vaguely familiar. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85495
