well hell, definitely feel flat so not sure sway bars are needed just yet, maybe for track days but on tight scca events it's more sliding. think it's time for some road race/autocross event tires. too 888r's or maybe even some cup2's.......
already have their struts and shocks and their progressive springs. also did the subframe braces, lat links, front g brace, irs bushings.....and jacking rails. i mean it'll hugh side light an off-road vehicle on certain inclines, also had an alignment done with some specs that are more than...
so what's the consensus on swaybars? brands etc.... i'll take any feedback. seeing a bit of sliding rather than the car biting in some tight corners. now i realize it could just be tire grip and I've gotten to the end of what the street tires will provide. thanks
i had the bump steer kit from steeda installed on mine after lowering this past weekend and i can't tell a bit of difference in the steering at all. only when tracking the car are you gonna mess with the roll center and bump steer......
steeda active non adjustable struts and shocks. steeda progressive springs, adjustable camber plates, bump steer kit, rear adjustable toe links, vertical links, 2 point front g brace and rear subframe supports with the rear diff bushings installed...
so far my viofo 119 2020 version is working awesome. but i don't leave it in the car. the mount stays attached to the windshield and i take my camera into work and lock it up...
thanks, and yes i do intend to do some autox and a track day is something i want to do but the distance i have to drive to get to one is about 4hrs so not many of those will be happening. i have a contact cliff elliot i will be talking to hopefully sunday evening to get some more thoughts...
called him today, said he recommends factory settings. i'll talk to the tech at the alignment shop monday to see how he set up cliff elliot's car. i would like a bit of camber but i also need to make sure I'm not eating up tires every 6months or so. thanks
FINALLY! she's at the shop with all the installs getting done, shocks, struts, springs, IDR mount bushings, IRS subframe mounts, front 2 point brace, adjustable form camber plates, and i can't wait. should have it back today and alignment shop monday..... ATTENTION STEEDA, can someone send me...
well installer took on too many jobs and couldn't install mine till saturday and into monday but couldn't get out of work monday so hopefully next saturday. :please:
i have them plus other steeda bits i am having installed next weekend, friday/saturday. i don't know if i'll be able to tell any difference due to everything i am doing at once. but i sure hope it feels different. only thing i won't have is swaybars so if it still has body roll that'll be next.
thanks for the heads up, but with no reply in over a week i requested a refund/cancel on my order. wish they would have been better at communicating what was happening .
didn't take any pic yet, installed redline tunings hood struts and got rid of the single prop rod, also did the roush rear valance aerofoil pieces and then did some controversial drake auto group front dive plane canards, like the look so i did it anyway. as always personal taste/choice.
curious to hear if anyone has had any contact from BMR? i've tried every avenue of contact since i order over a week ago and can not get any response on a timeframe for there vertical links. doesn't show anything shipped so assuming it's on backorder. not very reassuring on my first order....thanks
