  1. Ford Inspector for Warranty Repair-Update:Warranty Denied Claim Due to Off Road Racing

Shame we'll need to wait 5 months for a payoff to this.
  2. How Much Oil Is Supposed to Be on This Sensor/Burning Oil Smell

The above is the work of Phil Long Ford of Chapel Hills in Colorado Springs. Phil Long Ford of Motor City is the more capable dealership if anyone else is in the Springs.
  3. How Much Oil Is Supposed to Be on This Sensor/Burning Oil Smell

It looks worse in pictures but in person that's old dried oil. There looks to be fresh oil around the dipstick though: Nothing around the exhaust manifold (top and bottom), the brake lines also look oil free. 0 oil on my garage floor. There is a bunch of oil at the front end of the...
  4. How Much Oil Is Supposed to Be on This Sensor/Burning Oil Smell

Yea, I'm kind of thinking I won't hold on to this car forever now... I'm going to probably get rid of her when my powertrain warranty runs out. I'm genuinely concerned that they fucked something up and it's going to bite me in a couple of years if I hold on to the car for too long. I'll check...
  5. How Much Oil Is Supposed to Be on This Sensor/Burning Oil Smell

I did my first oil change after my engine rebuild. Everything went smooth but I smell a burning oil smell after hard acceleration. I don't see any leaks and my oil level appears to be consistent. I looked around the engine bay and saw a bunch of oil around this sensor by the first passengers...
  6. UPR Drain Plug Question

Easy drain would defiantly be worth it. I actually changed my oil with the non easy drain, 2 o-ring version last night and that initial pouring of oil always creates a splash. I haven't had issues with my plug. It always feels super snug when I go to take it off. Also, seeing the metal fuzz on...
  7. Dropped plastic battery cover screws somewhere in engine bay.

I'd imagine it's to make the engine bay "cleaner" and to protect the battery from dirt and corrosion. That being said, there are plenty of cars that don't have one (like my 4Runner). I still haven't put my cover back on from when my battery was dying and I was using a battery jumper to get home...
  8. Dropped plastic battery cover screws somewhere in engine bay.

You don't even need the plastic screws. The cover isn't going anywhere unless you roll over or something. The plastic screws might melt if they're next to the headers or exhaust or something but most likely nothing will happen and the clips will fall out eventually.
  9. Creaking Noise When Lowering Windows

I'll try to take a picture of the mechanics write up when I get home. I don't remember if he verbally said it or not but my rails had no grease. And that's true for when I took my door apart to see if anything was binding. Although, I don't remember my 2018's window rails being greased either.
  10. Creaking Noise When Lowering Windows

They lubed up my window rails and the noises went away on both sides. The grease smell was pretty strong. In case anyone else runs into this issue.
  11. Creaking Noise When Lowering Windows

The dealership said they're going to lube up the rail when they're fixing my transmission.
  12. Creaking Noise When Lowering Windows

Bumping during the day incase anyone was insight.
  13. Creaking Noise When Lowering Windows

Here it is with no engine noise in the background. Now featuring noise on the way up
  14. Creaking Noise When Lowering Windows

My window recently started creaking when lowering it. I've got an appointment with the good local dealership to look at it next week. Any ideas what it is? I'll try to get a video without the car running to hear it better tomorrow. It seems to get worse when the car is sitting out in the sun...
  15. What can we do for You?

Is the Subwoofer come as a single assembly? I'm looking for the cable that the subwoofer uses to plug into the wiring harness...
  16. Front Camera Haze

I think they ended up pulling the Safe and Smart housing off of the windshield and cleaned it up. It never came back. Also that car had it's first owner in Florida. I wonder if it's a high humidity thing.
  17. Lumbar Support Failure

Unzip the seat zipppers and have a look at what's going on. I haven't done that to my Mustangs yet but I've done it to a few other cars in the past. The only difficulty might be getting in a comfortable position to do it with the seat in the car.
  18. Over rev report

OP, Out of curiosity why do you want the car to come with the Recaro seats? From my understanding it's fairly easy to replace the standard seats with a pair of aftermarket ones that probably fit you better and are more comfortable and fit your body better. Also, (personal opinion) the OEM...
  19. Active Exhaust Question

I picked up the Borla SwitchFire 2.5" X-Pipe at LethalPerformance during Black Friday and I'm absolutely loving it. YouTube clips don't do it justice.
