I spent a few weeks learning how to cut and polish my 350. Then applied graphene. It is really easy to apply ceramic/graphene. You just need to make the car perfect before you dot it. Thats the hard part. But well worth it if you are a do it yourself'er.

Money is worth 12% less than it was pre covid, so some costs are just what they are and not coming down. But the Mustangs are also seasonally high. Once winter hits, the the entire northern part of America wont be looking as much. My GT350 was 5k less in Jan than when I bought 2 months ago...

I ended up machine polishing the stripes with a finishing polish. Went really light. Turned out great. Water spots mostly gone. Not willing to push it.

What was the end result? Burnt piston because of the heat and no ring clearance? I saw the messed up plugs.

Yeah, my water spot remover works pretty well on paint, but I am worried how aggressive it is on vinyl. I'll have to ask around. Thanks.

I have always seen the stripes taped over when the car was being paint corrected. So it "seems" like they are avoiding the stripes. But people ceramic coat the stripes which must mean they polish them first or at least wax them.

I have a GT350 and the vinyl stripe has some etching from acid rain in it. For the paint I can remove with some buffing, but I don't think I can buff the stripe. I am unsure how delicate the stripe is. Can U buff the stripe?
