  1. 2019 Comp cams stage 2 NSR installed!

No, they aren't. So for a weekend/canyon car, why get rid of the little torque you have?
  2. Vmp tunes

    that makes sense
  3. 2019 Comp cams stage 2 NSR installed!

Do you want no low end torque? Because this is how you get no low end torque. For all that money, you could do an ESS kit and make more power for cheaper.
  4. 2019 Comp cams stage 2 NSR installed!

Bingo. If you are staying under 1,100whp, then just go Aluminator (NOT THE 9.5:1 one, get the N/A version).
  5. Vmp tunes

Why VMP? Do they even work with that RevX tuner; I have never looked into that device. I thought they were SCT/RTD only. Also, get as low as you can, like 10 miles or less. Test your fuel before you fill up.
  6. Vented Catch can

filters directly on the valve cover run the risk of fire if you have a failure. The filter will be the path of least resistance, and then you have fluid puking onto hot manifolds.
  7. Is Wengerd performance or Lund tuning good ?

you're right. Your tune left you extra salty lol
  8. Is Wengerd performance or Lund tuning good ?

Not true at all. Lund will reply to emails instantly and get you tuned up within one or two days. 99% of issues on vetted tunes come down to install error or missing facts.
  9. Is Wengerd performance or Lund tuning good ?

    This was kinda funny, ngl.
  10. Is Wengerd performance or Lund tuning good ?

I am a fan of Lund. I had a 14 GT500 tuned by them and they will tune my 350. Truth of the matter is that no one has more expertise or experience by volume with coyotes, than Lund. I have no experience with Wengerd, but he seems to be a new hotness and people seem to like him. I can't speak on...
  11. So the new gen7 whipple numbers are out........

If it smells like a pig and looks like a pig... This wouldn't surprise me.
  12. Datalog tune file help (need opinions)

Who tuned you? Depending on the tuner, I would trust them more than random people on the internet with questionably different education levels.
  13. So the new gen7 whipple numbers are out........

I agree, IF standalones got to that point, but we are a world away. Part of the allure of the coyote platform was that you can go from dealership to 11s, 10s, 9s., 8s, 7s, and now 6s with a factory computer. People could put on a blower and fuel system and go 8s relatively easy. Changing...
  14. So the new gen7 whipple numbers are out........

I completely agree. The only gen 6 Whipple I have seen on a non S650 is Garret Mitchell's F150 (Cleetus), which seems to be the same as a Gen 5 Whipple, power wise. Whipple/Lethal already got caught trying to pump up "Pump Gas" numbers, which used octane booster. And now VMP may have done the...
  15. It's official. VMP joins forces with Whipple

VMP is now a dealer for Whipple. Different lid logo, but it is exactly the same. VMP inherited some Carb EO numbers from Whipple, but they are tied to Whipple's hands.
  16. So the new gen7 whipple numbers are out........

One thing seems to be clear: The Gen 6 Whipple is superior to Gen 5 Whipple. That said, the S650 is handcuffed. Whipple is the only show in town. Now they have the private label deals with VMP and Lethal. As others have said, they have to get this blower to sell. This is the end of the road...
  17. So the new gen7 whipple numbers are out........

"830 whp" should be much higher MPH. Must be massive torque limits/reduction in. Whipple calibration.
  18. So the new gen7 whipple numbers are out........

Tremec seems to have put the strategy in Fort Knox. People are putting Dodson clutches in the DCTs, which seem to be a bandaid, but shifts aren't hitting. Clutch pressures, torque limits, etc. are not adjustable.
  19. Voodoo short block with gen 3 heads

FFRE short block, which I believe is a Boss crank, GT350 heads with Predator cams, VCT on Exhaust is locked, VCT active on Intake cam.
  20. So the new gen7 whipple numbers are out........

This is the biggest thing keeping C8s, and 2020+ GT500s, slow. People have thrown tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars at C8s, but the DCT lockdown is the limiting factor. The TCM notices any additional torque and just kills things. I mean, look at GT500s, they need like 1,000-1,100+hp to...
