It wasn't just the lack of wheel spin, it just did, not sure why
That said this looks TONS better, really shows off the performance you have under that hood
Was this directed at me?
If it was, I don't see how suggesting 2-step is confusing. I don't need to know who - if anyone - offers it currently to tell him it's the best option for spooling up his turbo off the line.
If it wasn't please disregard my sass :p
You'd be better off with a two-step/ launch control kind of deal. Gives you some nice anti-lag and you can launch at the same rpm every time.
Not sure if anyone offers that yet for the Ecobeast
You can run Nitro if you want, wouldn't push more than 100 shot though.
As much as I like the mustang I have to point out that guys with stock block B18c engines (Integra GSR) with a turbo run 12's and even 11's pretty regularly.
It's kind of apples to oranges because they didn't come with a turbo stock, but Hondas can be pretty respectable too with a few mods.
This is the exact video I was comparing to.
Your car looks fast as hell and you're driving it like you stole it. It's badass.
It's probably either video compression, driver mod, or a mix of the two.
Again, not bashing your products, I love what MAP has been doing with this car and...
Obligatory "Show me a dyno graph".
I like Steeda products and they seem to be a good crew, so I don't have much reason to suspect number fudging....but that's a pretty big improvement without a tune
EDIT*** Where'd you grab this pic? I don't see it anywhere on the product page. I can't find...
I couldn't agree more. It's just looks oddly slow lol
I wasn't passing judgement or saying it IS slow, just noting that the way this was taped made it not look like the rocket it probably is - it doesn't do the car justice.
I think OP needs a ripper vid 0-100 with a camera on the cluster...
That makes sense. And please don't think I mean any disrespect by this, it just looks like it's got about 200 hp - reminds me of a stock 240sx with an exhaust.
Sweet video man! Your car looks great.
It doesn't seem (just from how the video makes it look) super fast tbh lol
Have you gotten any numbers yet? Hp, tq, 0-60, 1/4 mile?
Thanks for posting!
Sexy!
So this is just at the throttle body? Any plans to do a 4 injector setup at the manifold or do you think this will support your 7-800 hp goals?
What size injectors are you going to run?
Secondary fuel pump?
I'm digging this solution :headbang:
I've never heard it called "barking" either, maybe fluttering if anything.
Regardless, based on the video OP linked, it's surge.
Surge should never happen if the pressure relief system works properly. That's why I would take it to the dealer and have them look at the BOV system after...
Lincoln will have a 3.0L ecoboost in the new continental. From what I've heard, though, that's only supposed to be Lincoln, Fords get the 2.7L
Even then, it puts out 325hp and 375 lbft stock. I feel like there's a buttload of potential in that twin turbo power house! :headbang:
