I managed two track days out of my Cup 2's along with 5000 street miles. I'm on the fence about using them again for a third and final day. I figure once you see the cords they're finally done, amiright? :)
Give it time. My 2017 was nice and tight when I took delivery but now looks like someone ran a train on her. All loosey goosey with those bumper gaps... :_(
I'm 6'1" and have my little guy who occasionally rides with me. He is usually situated behind myself and our 7 y/o rides behind her because his legs need more room. It's a tight fit, definitely not something I would recommend for a long trip.
*EDIT* Sorry Tomster, I missed your first suggestion. I actually had a locking solution provided from a quality manufacturer, as I don't trust $10K to a single locking lug. As for torque - since I've heard some have issues with snapping lugs at 150, I stopped at 135 ft. lbs.
Just a tidbit of info - a warranty claim for peeling paint on my R wheels was denied because of my decision to use aftermarket lugnuts and "over torquing" said lugnuts. Keep that in mind... Not at all happy with this baseless decision on Ford's part.
TLDR: proceed with caution
I like the "adult sized" Pez dispenser! Not sure why someone felt the need to cut the top of the box open. That does not look like a cardboard failure.
