  1. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I take the car to Trent Musser, a Shelby specialist who has a garage up at Sonoma Raceway.
  2. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Dropped it off to have so many things done... Ford Performance springs R front splitter (Anderson R wing is coming in two weeks) Steeda front camber plates and track alignment LTH resonator delete Schroth QuickFit harnesses (driver and passenger) Rear axle oil change
  3. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Finally got it back after 29 days at the Ford dealer waiting on replacement transmission cooler lines. They let it sit outside the whole time so it needed a deep cleaning once I got home.
  4. GT350R vs EVERYTHING

The M2C and M4 have similar steering feel due to similar steering systems and suspension components. (The M2C is really a parts bin car - everything from the M3 and M4 just bolted to a smaller body.) The main difference is that the M2C feels more nimble, more lively due to its shorter wheelbase...
  5. GT350R vs EVERYTHING

In C&D's Lightning Lap series, the 2015 BMW M4 did 3:00.7 around VIR. The 2016 BMW M2 (different, non-M engine) did it in 3:01.9; the 2019 M2 Competition (same engine as the M4, different body) did it in 2:59.7. I'd call the M4 and M2C within the margin of error.
  6. GT350R vs EVERYTHING

M2 CS weighs 100 lbs less than M4 CS. Same engine with 10 hp less.
  7. Prices are on the rise......

$171K for a 2020 with 956 miles... or you could pay $80K for a 2019 with 1386 miles. It makes no sense. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/c7c04734-2604-47fe-9f1b-6a5e60afd885/ What it means is that 2020 is destined for a covered garage never to be driven again. Which is sad.
  8. ADM Hell! Ford!!!!

May have been 19, not 22. It was a hell of a lot. I think Napa Ford has always had a lot of GT500s… at least I saw some references on here to them having a lot of inventory a couple years ago.
  9. ADM Hell! Ford!!!!

Interesting then that Napa Ford has 22 GT500s in stock, including several CFTPs. They may eventually sell them all, but I don’t have to be the sucker.
  10. ADM Hell! Ford!!!!

I contacted five California dealers in the last couple weeks (Napa Ford, Towne Ford, Serramonte Ford, Hemborg Ford, Cypress Coast Ford) who have been unwilling to sell a GT500 CFTP (or even a base model) for MSRP. šŸŽ» I will not be buying one for $15K over.
  11. Georgia 2018+ Beith Full Carbon Steering Wheel with Blue Carbon Bezels

What did it look like installed in your car?
  12. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I believe they had 11.5ā€ in the rear (and 325 tires) on the anthracite VS-5RS and 11ā€ in the rear on the satin black EC7-RS. The 11.5ā€ wheel and 325 tire had a lot of poke. I will personally go with a 19ā€x11ā€ square setup so the tires can be rotated and there isn’t as much poke. Group buy is...
  13. FL 2087 update (interesting information)

šŸ˜… next time I will try running with the shipping wedges installed in the suspension
  14. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Photos from my Apex shoot came out
  15. FL 2087 update (interesting information)

Yeah, it's probably those lines. I just spoke to the dealer and they said the replacement parts were shipped from Detroit yesterday - 19 days after I dropped off the car. Frustrating but if it's true the end is in sight. Thank you so much for the offer.
  16. FL 2087 update (interesting information)

I Googled and couldn't find anything. Other than putting the car on Track mode with stiff suspension setting, what am I doing wrong?
  17. FL 2087 update (interesting information)

Laguna Seca has a lot of elevation changes. I probably bottomed out coming out of the Corkscrew at speed. Alternative theory is I'm just too damn fast for the Tremec.
  18. FL 2087 update (interesting information)

I was able to buy two from a dealer for $39 each including shipping. Now if the Ford dealer in Monterey would get the necessary parts to fix my car (busted transmission cooler lines, 20 days out of commission and counting) I could be back in business...
  19. 2020 GT350 Heritage Winner (Loser)

This one? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2020-ford-mustang-shelby-gt350-23/ Congratulations! Be happy about the win. It's a pretty low mileage car. You may consider having it shipped to New Jersey. I'm not an advocate for garage queens but in one fell swoop you'd be doubling the mileage on...
  20. Market bubble and electric restrictions vs value

Cars last longer than ever. As they say, they don't build them like they used to - they build them better.
