I have the X as well. Love it for track use. I did have an issue with the car going into limp mode and turned out to be a PIN issue with the throttle harness. X sent me a new one and I have had no issues since.
The car only showed the orange wrench. No codes were thrown or saved. After a tow...
I got the wrench code at a track day recently. Car went into limp mode. It finally stayed in limp mode and I had to get a tow out. Turns out mine was electrical but throttle related. I have a blip module installed and the harness had a pin issue. The tech was able to plug in the factory throttle...
It happened again at the track yesterday. This time it would not reset. We tried all we could at the track, but had to get it over to a dealership. Turns out it was a harness pin issue with my blip module. The code reader we had at the track would not pick up the code. However, the dealership...
Oil temp was 220 range, that was the only one I checked. I was not sure if leaving the car running was better than shutting it off for that amount of time.
Hello,
I was at a track day yesterday. We went out and made 2 laps and another vehicle had an issue. We all had to come in and wait on pit lane for about 10 minutes. I left the car running for about 3 minutes and then shut it off. I went back out and in less than 1/2 a lap I went into limp...
I did two days there in '20. You are not going to find the 24 degree banking at many other tracks. You have long straights that allow for higher speeds. I really enjoyed it. Now, would I drive 14 hours total for 3 sessions.....I don't think I would.
You can use any on/off switch that looks good to you. I think mine came with 18 gauge, so I used that as well. It is not carrying much current, so that should be good. As for the ground, I had to go under the dash a little to find something metal to ground to. There is a lot of plastic, but keep...
I was there in July of '20 and the cars did not have any kind of blip module at that time. As Bob mentioned, they taught us how to heel/toe. My big ass feet were not good at it. Hence, I installed a module which I LOVE.
I was running the same day as Goose. The curbing is NOT painted, but colored concrete. Yes, it is meant to be used for sure. I track 5-6 times per year, so not that much. This track was AWESOME. We ran five sessions, with the morning in the wet. That was fine because I was not 100% comfortable...
I did the track day on Thursday. They did not have enough cars for two days at the track, so Thursday was the day. It was wet in the morning, but needed to learn the track anyway. 27 cars show up and we ran five, 20/25 minutes sessions. The track is amazing, 4 miles with 19 turns. It takes a...
