I have a '22 Big Bend 2 door. I can tell you for sure the ride is AWESOME vs. the Jeep due to the IFS. I bought some Badlands take off wheels and tires and love it. It is my wife's daily and she also loves the rig. We wanted a manual so have the 2.3L 4 cyl. Plenty of power for us.
Why is because if you track the car it is one less thing you have to worry about while focusing on everything else. I don't have this particular product, but I do have a blip module. I have talked with guys who say they practice heel/toe on the street. I think to myself they don't really know...
I’m there with you. Outside of Ozarks (which I haven’t drive ), I’ve yet to drive a club track that is even half as good as the old school ones like Road America, road Atlanta, VIR, etc.
I used to live 2 hrs. from OIR. I have been on it five times and loved it. I moved to NC so now enjoying the...
SCCA Track Night in America is a good starting point if you are close to a track they use. Depending on what discounts you get they are $160-180 for three 20 minutes sessions. I personally don't get the track insurance, but others will have opinions on that. Love your ride. Get it on track to...
Hello,
I am in need of a new chin splitter for my '18 350. Anyone know of a cheaper price than $475 + tax for an OEM unit? Currently LMR is the cheapest with free shipping. I know black friday is this week so checking with the community to see if anyone out there has seen anything lower.
Thanks
I only do 4-5 track days per year and they are usually 3 - 25 minute sessions. I purchased them used from a M1 guy who was never going to track and did not want cup 2's. I have approx. 6 track days on them currently after his use of about 2k miles.
Could also be the shifter buzz that has been noted many times on here. Do a search for that and see if that matches your issue. This is specific to the shifter vs. shifter & clutch however.
I love my tire guy. He runs an independent shop and will shoot me straight on what are good vs crap. He had been around the tire industry his entire professional career.
Replace. Learn from my mistake. I have a '72 Mach 1. Have BFG TA's on it. Tire had only 1k miles maybe, but over 10 yrs. old and always stored in garage. Steel belt let loose one day while I was doing 35 on city street. Really fucked up my fender......
I had this happen at a track day. Went into limp mode and it was the blip modual. Unplugged it from the go pedal and the car worked just fine. I contacted the manufacturer of the blip modual and he sent a new harness. No issues since. Had to have it towed from the track, but shop found it quickly.
