I can't help but feel confused and disappointed. The car that was on that path was progressing like a freight train, and I couldn't wait to hear updates. I guess it isnt anyone's business, but the change up takes some wind out of the sails. Adam, I'm under the impression you bought an auto...
So if you're more interested in ***** footing around with BATs of 50 over ambient, why are you giving poor advice in MAPs thread? Not to be argumentive, but just leave it to Adam to answer questions in his thread, and maybe not go against the grain after he speaks his ECOBOOST GOSPEL.
My full race intake is supposed to arrive today, and I just ordered the single muffler race exhaust. Any ETA? I noticed the street exhaust was in stock, hopefully the race isn't far behind.
Im glad to see this in the works. I've aligned my car 2 times since lowering and the camber bolt has slipped. I tighten the shit out of it. It's tight up there, anxious to see your solution.
It'd recommend reading, reading, and a little more reading. Answers to most any question so far has been covered. Making new threads on topics that have already been covered could come across as lazy. Congratulations on the car.
So what do you name that "race exhaust" that's been in the works now after this reveal?? Sidenote, since Adam hasn't popped in, are we assuming the 570 beast will not be in attendance?
These results are very exciting, and I'm sure I speak for everyone, can't wait to see the 35psi numbers! Not to get too sidetracked, but is your clutch/flywheel setup working better?
Nice to see a few front runners in the same thread and going to the same event. Whatever happens, it'll be good for the platform/community. Push them hard and report back!
Nice to see some progress. Bgolden, I know you're helping and not the one pricing it, but to be a considerable option for the money, it's got to come down when compared to the 2 current options, and the third probably coming after SEMA.
Disconnecting the battery just resets your adaptive values. I think you should mention your tuner to get some involvement and give him a chance to show he's willing to stick with you to see your issue resolved. It's not bashing, just including all variables. Good luck.
First, as a 10 year Hyundai tech, I've never heard anyone experiencing their Genesis running better after disconnecting the battery, funny. Don't give up on the Ecoboost, when running right, it's better than the Genesis in all ways. I'm also curious who your tune was from. From the...
Especially since you're in California, it would be most benificial to get an intercooler at the same time as the accessport. With my MAP intercooler, there have been several times where the intake air temps have been only 1-2 degrees over ambient. The stock one is insufficient and robs power...
