Cheap ass Federal 595evo. I work at a dealership, just got done dismounting the 1 tire, and grabbed the sticker out of the garbage. Going to slap the sticker on, buy breakfast for my parts guy, and nicely ask he return them. 285/35s will be next.
I did not. I just played with a tire size calculator, Google images, and crossed my fingers. FAIL.. Alot of BMW Audi set ups look good with this size. They were probably lower and have a smaller wheel well. I knew I was taking a chance, had to find out the hard way. Luckily the tires are...
I didn't see anyone do this, and now I know why. I wanted a smaller diameter, but this isn't the way to do it. I will NOT be mouting the other 3 tires. Car is on steeda ultralites, wheels are 20x10 +40. I will be going with a 35 tire. Sucks to fail, but if it saves someone else from making...
Fair enough, not trying to expose any secret awesomeness. I know Web did a lot of regrinds, and new ones are $1200ish/pair. If one were to sack up and spend $4000 on a head, another $1200 would be a no brainer. The potential of a different head is great, but also makes planning out a build...
19x9.5 +45 asa gt06 powdercoated bronze metallic with advan v105 285/40 and 3/16 spacers. Switching it up to a 20x10 square set up next week, waiting on tires.
It's roughly a $12k gap between a reliable 400 and 550. Plan accordingly. Nice to see the option of the shortblock. Fingers crossed for long blocks with ported heads and legit cams next year.
Mustangs, well, a fox and a new edge. Both part of the slowest of my list of 30. Not here to bore with my life story. My friends have fast cars too. Wow. I agree with slow on the thought process of no restriction after the turbo. All the "big guys" @ YB run 3-4" pipes under the car or out...
I remember reading they are planning a fiberglass in the future. Just need to see a pic w/o the flap. The flap leans towards rice in my opinion. It's clearly a cosmetic non functional wing/spoiler, and I'm cool with that. But slapping a functional part on top, that probably isn't functional...
