I've got 285/40s on 19x9.5s. They bulge slightly, on a 10" it would probably look nice and square as far as the sidewall. I experience tramlining at times, a slight yank over expansion joints or puddles at highway speeds. I'd assume 295s would exaggerate this. The 1" height increase over...
I didn't take any vids. My car has been in hibernation for a week now, so sad. Ecosnake had a couple of his, he's the reason I decided not to wait for the race version. He's got a catted DP, and there's plenty of volume for my liking. Geoff sent me a few vids while I was waiting on delivery.
Haven't seen Sean in years, but Ryan is a close friend. You're probably right on the mix up. Either way, the car looks killer. Can't wait to see a pic of the Fikses on the 550!
285s up front for 15k has made me hesitant to go that wide on my 20x 10s I have waiting around for next year. Different experiences for different people I guess. 305s sound like overkill on a DD. Your 18" XXR look great. Refreshing to see something different.
I run 285/40r19s. The tramlining is for real. Plenty of times the wheel has yanked on my hands un expectedly. It can can get sketchy through puddles at speed. No fitment issues though. Plenty of room for 305s if that's what you're going for.
I put my car away last night because I'm a wimp. But I can vouch for the Blizzaks I put on my wifes q5. We got blasted with snow. I feel everyone should have snow tires, they are usually cheaper than an insurance claim!
Sorry if this has been discussed before. It's no secret the shifter isnt the best in the business. The steeda trans mount insert made an improvement in feel. Id imagine stiffer engine mounts with an MGW Race would be the golden ticket. Any EBs out there with either of Steedas engine mount...
