My noise can only be heard with the hood open. Also, the noise is located just passed the black air intake tube and in the front, center part of the engine. I'm thinking the throttle body.

I thought the bbq tick was heard more on the passenger side of the car? The ticking noise I have sounds like something metal that is opening and closing, and it is coming from the front center of the engine.

When I had my 2020 GT, one of the things my mechanic said was when he had the car on the lift and turned the steering wheel, there was no noise because the steering rack was not under load. Glad to help.

My 2020 and my 2023 auto premium GT would idle around 600 to 625 when fully warmed up with no AC on.

I only added the K&N drop in air filter on my 2023 Mustang GT auto, California Special, and I noticed some improvement on my throttle response. Does anyone know if the carbon filter in the lattice ever gets changed or cleaned for maintenance?

My 2023 has the slight steering wheel groan as well, but only when the car is fully warmed up.

Is your car still drive-able or are they storing it until the parts arrive?

Unfortunately, I cannot comment on E85. But, based on my past experience with my 2020 GT and others on here, the idle problem and the car shutting off, could be dirty/faulty VCT solenoids. Here's the thread on it: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/idle-goes-rough-randomly-stock-tune.133398/

Question for you guys. I put the K&N drop in air filter in my 2023 Mustang GT, but left the charcoal filter alone. Do you know how many miles FORD recommends before they replace the charcoal filter? Or, do they just leave it in?
