I'm not a big fan of wiring either. I had the VMP on my previous 5.0, but I will be going with the JMS on the new one. It appears to be the most straightforward install from what I've read.
Sheesh! Sounds like a terrible experience. My car is in now to have the rear bumper cover and hood/driver side fender adjusted. Here is how my interaction with dealer went:
