  1. Will traction control kill your clutch?

    The traction control button.
  2. 1/2 Mile - NoFlyZone Midwest

I sure am. They seemed to have opened the car up a pretty fair amount. It just sucks that Ford had to make the driver side cat part of the exhaust manifold. Found a good fab guy who did the install for $160. I can try to upload a video of the car sometime today. I love how it sounds now...
  3. 1/2 Mile - NoFlyZone Midwest

Definitely going to be fun! And you're welcome!
  4. 1/2 Mile - NoFlyZone Midwest

We should line up! I have cat deletes done now. I'll also be installing RXT clutch and flywheel, opg, crank sprocket, aluminum DS, cold air ,and maybe try to get a high octane tune to run some torco. Should be fun! Left my computer at work amd can't copy Facebook link from phone. If you...
  5. 1/2 Mile - NoFlyZone Midwest

Ha! That was my brother. He originally edited out that part, but I said to give me the original because it makes the video even better! I'm sure the Camaro owner was in shock as I blew past him given the distance he put on me from the start.
  6. 1/2 Mile - NoFlyZone Midwest

You definitely should! Are you following the event page on Facebook for the one in September? I'm hoping to go a bit faster than last time.
  7. Paxton Beefcake Special Dyno Results! - 6/24/2016

Nice numbers! We made nearly the same thing, but I was on the 3.6" and stock exhaust. I have cat deletes now, so hoping for a nice little bump in power.
  8. Stick shift power adder cars come inside

I have a few videos in this thread: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52749&highlight=JohnG
  9. Maxflow vs Tial bov

I was a bit unsure of all the noise the Maxflow makes at first, but I've grown to love it. The bewildered look on peoples' faces as I drive by is priceless.
  10. Centrifugal, with wastegates & over drive pulley

I don't run a boost gauge and the dyno I went on didn't measure. I'm betting 12.5-13 is a good guess given the stock exhaust. I'm having cat deletes installed tomorrow. I need to buy a boost gauge. May just order one today.
  11. Centrifugal, with wastegates & over drive pulley

I'm not worried that anything will happen at my power level, but I'd rather just get them done for piece of mind. Honestly, wish I would have done it before. Now I have to take it all off to get to the timing cover.
  12. Centrifugal, with wastegates & over drive pulley

Thank you! Not yet. I do have them and they will be replaced within the next couple weeks.
  13. Centrifugal, with wastegates & over drive pulley

Yep. Rolling start at 40mph. I don't do dig racing right now since my drivetrain isn't upgraded any. You'd really be flying with a rolling start at your HP level.
  14. Centrifugal, with wastegates & over drive pulley

Thanks! Running 3.73, manual trans and 305/35r19
  15. Centrifugal, with wastegates & over drive pulley

I didn't have any problems taking down a couple cars with more torque and horsepower in a 1/2 mile event. Beat a 2014 Viper with a tune, 2012 GT500 with upgraded blower, Camaro Zl1... And a couple others. I ran right next to a twin turbo 2012 Mustang. He had me by half a car at the end. Just...
  16. Paxton & Vortech owners please

The 3.6 is the way to go. You should upgrade your spark plugs as well. I got the brisk plugs with the special. If you don't mind some noise, I recommend the race BOV, too.
  17. Paxton & Vortech owners please

I got the Paxton in satin with 3.6" pulley, ID1000s, Lund tune, JMS BAP, ngauge, and race BOV... Wouldn't change anything except for maybe adding the CAI right away instead of doing it later. Car does run pretty good with stock air box and drop in filter, though.
  18. Reuse/Modify A JLT Catch Can To Work With A Whipple Kit

It may not be as pretty as the UPR one, but I bought http://www.steeda.com/steeda-black-billet-s550-mustang-oil-separator-2015-555-3716/ and ran the lines myself for the passenger side. It was pretty easy to do. So no reason you can't reuse yours and run lines.
  19. Help Paxton noise

I have a slight tick, but it's from the bigger injectors. I had a little bit or a chirp coming from one of the pulleys, but haven't noticed it lately. When it did chirp, it was first thing and then went away after a few minutes of running. I've had zero issues before, during, or after the sound.
  20. Self installers for Paxton/Vortech kits

They send the instructions on disc. I should be able to download and send you a copy. I'll check when I get off work unless someone beats me to it.
