Made 680 on 93 and 747 on E85.
Paxton Beefcake Special w/ 3.6"
JLT intake
Cat deletes
RXT clutch and lightened flywheel
Aluminum DS
Fore stage 1 fuel system
I changed over to the JLT intake, but made too many other upgrades to give you a definitive answer. I do know that my car ran just fine on stock airbox and stock exhaust with the 3.6". It put down 619rwhp and out ran a few cars in the 1/2 mile. If I were to do it again, I probably would have...
The corn tune is just awesome! I was a bit surprised with the 680, but I did make 620 on stock exhaust and airbox. Not unreasonable to think the CAI, cat deletes, lightened flywheel and aluminum DS added/freed up 60hp.
That's not a bad price to install the blower. I had a Ford dealer charge me $1400 for a ProCharger install on my 2012 and it's my understanding that those things are pretty simple to install. I'm still glad I tackled the Paxton myself. I actually enjoyed the process.
Ah, yeah 8+2 for me...
Thanks! I'll probably try to run 1/4 next year when I can upgrade the halfshafts. For this year, I'm going to do some 1/2 mile roll racing in September.
I believe they charged 8 hours for the job. Maybe beefcake can chime in with exactly how long they would like the car. My guess is a full day and then pick up sometime the next day.
I took my car out to Finish Line Performance in Milford, OH. They installed McLeod RXT clutch and flywheel, aluminum DS, OPG, CS Gear, FORE Stage 1 fuel system, and JLT CAI. The car already had a Paxton with 3.6" pulley and cat deletes. Made 680rwhp on 93 and 747rwhp on E85. Here is a video of...
Nice pics! Finish Line actually put that McLeod in as well. They are worth the trip if you don't have a good performance shop nearby. I drove the car 300 miles and don't regret it one bit. Unless Terry beats me to it, I'll create a thread when I get home to my computer to post video of dyno pull.
The ID1000s will be fine for 700whp on E85, but you'll want to upgrade the fuel system. I'm switching to E85 and picked up a FORE fuel system from Beefcake. There are a couple threads on here with Paxton cars recently going E85 and the results are fantastic!
Nice numbers! Dropped mine off this morning with Finish Line/Beefcake. Going e85. I have the 3.6 pulley but only cat deletes and no headers. Hoping to hit something around what you did.
Picked up the tool needed for the stepless clamps at Menards (plumbing section). I still have my stock lower grille, but seriously considering cutting it out.
So tempting! I haven't even gotten the other stuff I bought from you installed. Sucks that E85 here isn't more popular. The only station I would go to here is generally in the complete opposite direction from where I typically travel.
