I Purchased some quarter window louvers but they didn't fit and it seems it is because of the OEM chrome surround. Had to return them. Anyone here with chrome surround have quarter window louvers or scoops that fit?

No hole drilling here. The amazon purchase I made for this was cancelled due it being out of stock even though it said in stock. The price directly from Air Designs, with shipping, it too high. So on with my search for a 'subtle' spoiler. Any ideas, please let me know and thanks in advance.

I don't think that is is visually useless, but it does not 'stand out' for sure, nor do I want it to. I am very particular with spoilers, just as I was on my Miata. On the mustang my options are limited, because I want a spoiler on only the trunk and not protruding off over the sides. I much...

Thank you for the feedback. It isn't about use for me, but just having a subtle spoiler appearance. I can get it for $185 shipped. The Roush spoiler that attaches to the end of the lip is much more expensive and frankly not to my liking.

I am thinking about an 'understated' spoiler like the one from air designs. I like the satin black finish that goes with my quarter window louvers and the other OEM trim of the car. I have no spoiler right now on my '19 EB. Thoughts on this, other than price? It is mostly for looks...

I tried using similar vinyl covers but they won't stick to the fabric once the sticker is off. Are the Zombie ones different?

Are these vents closed off on the bottom or do they still act as 'heat extractors'?

It does say that is is compatible with my Eco. So, just so I understand, it just 'slips over and onto' the existing splitter?

What is the striping along the bottom? Pinstripes?

I am also thinking about this one. Regarding the 3M, I have a similar size spoiler on my 06 Miata and it is only attached with 30 lb 3M and 3 dabs of Goop glue. It has been on there for over 5 years and driven at highway speeds ... no issues.

I'm considering those vents as well, but not body colored. I think, for the Mustang, they would better either matte or gloss black, depending on one's preference and mods. Now that I saw the photo again, however, those air curtains are now back on my 'possible' list ... thanks! :sunglasses:

I love my window louvers, but very 50/50 on painting them body color or leave them matte black. Not sure if the Chrome surround works better with the matte, which matches the other matte trim, or with the body color. What say you?
