Take it apart and start over. Just follow the instructions to time the cams. It's pretty easy. Watch a YouTube video that may help to give you a visual of it.
No, I only have one an 18. The only reason to lock them on an 18 with a 16 car is the electronics are different and the adapters are not very reliable. Deleting when you switch to an 18 I'm just avoides issues that could arise.
For most cases just stick with a ported 18. If you want to go faster and potentially use cams etc and Rev to 8k plus making power cobra jet ftw. I went from an 18 to a cobra jet, and the Cobra jet and bigger tb is very noticeablely faster. My car used to spin a bit in second with the 18 if it...
I haven't done it on a older manifold. It can be done easily, but would most likely have a negative impact on drivability, and there would be no performance increase by doing so.
I'm home, stick to saving for a blower and with the Edelbrock you get a warranty. If you don't want that, ftw and get an e85 tune. Your just pissing in the wind with intake mods(unless going cobra jet intake manifold) and h pipe stuff.
Time for me to replace plugs, what's recommend for high rpm na cars on e85. Plug recommendation, and gap. As I mechanic that works primarily on Fords I prefer to use motorcraft. But that's on stock trucks, I'm sure there is something out there that is better with e85. Thoughts?
Afs heads and comp na stage 3 cams. Haven't had a chance to work on either car as it's my busy season at work and that's about all I'm doing at the moment.
The officer told me that he didn't get me on radar, and exhibition of speed was all he could get me for, honestly I think he may have been a car guy. I did shake his hand and say thank you, if it were a certain other officer that I have had multiple bad run ins with I would have left in cuffs
Done it, just cut the vent line and let it vent to atmosphere, you could find some sort of filter, but wouldn't be a bad idea. Mine just goes straight out no filter, and no issues. And my tuner made sure I would have no lights.
So last night I got caught in Mexico at 130mph, thanks to a very nice officer I was allowed to return to America with a warning and told to calm down a bit. Just seeing if anyone else has had similar experiences?
It's in there, just hard to find., I will be going to the shop tomorrow to work on my car and can put a Vin in and run you through what tabs etc to go to. Pretty sure I have everything bookmarked on my work computer.
