Two months ago, the car went 10.60 @ 135 with 1.61 60'
This was stock shocks, stock converter and M/T ET Street II 295/45/17 @ 16.5 PSI in the tires.
Last week I put in a circle D 3200 converter, Viking Shocks and MT "R" 305/45/17 tires. I also swapped from a 4.0" pulley to a 3.5" pulley...
I've found some advertised for 11-12. I've seen some advertised for 11-14. Nothing specifically calls out 15+.
I saw RBS550 running one (I have a PM out to him asking).
Anyone running one? I'm too fat and lazy to crawl under the car and check. And I'm checking because I just swapped in a...
Pulled car out of storage after 5 weeks. I wasn't sure it was gonna start. Even before going into storage and after going into storage, it takes a lot longer to start. No more pressing button and "instant" start.
Hot or cold, same experience. Please tell me this is what I have to put up with E-85.
Trying to load a custom tune. It tells me update is available. When I update with SCT Updater, it says "Device Up to Date!".
Anyone know how to overcome this?
I've got a hobbs switch and a twin Fore setup. Trying to figure out how to wire the relay.
Wires out of relay are
Black 12v Switch to relay 12v/pos OE wire (chassis side)
Yellow 12v Power to pump 12v/pos OE wire (pump side)
White Ground...
Anyone have this combo? Rear O2 sensors hit with BMR's loop. Did you swap the O/R pipes side-to-side and put the O2 sensors on the bottom? Different loop? Relocate bungs?
I have a way of overthinking shit, so by all means, tell me I'm being stupid and I'll shut up. But 100% stock, if I'm doing 40 or so and nail the throttle on an on-ramp, I can get the car sideways. The car has the factory 18" P Zeros or whatever they're called.
So now that the Whipple build is...
I purchased this car a little over a year ago. I purposely purchased it to boost it. The original intent was a Whipple, but then wanted to put a turbo in it, but since no kits existed at the time and none exist today that I'm interested in...Whipple it is!
I watched a local Whipple car go...
I've seen this combo work before. Not sure why, but I don't have enough clearance between the rear nipple and the pulley. Both the hose supplied by Whipple and Mishimoto have the same problems.

Anyone worked around...
I hang my head in shame asking for help. Put in OPG/CG yesterday. Everything was going well, too well. Put it back together. Fired right up. Oil pressure is good...but missing. Codes galore. Misfires on 5, 6, 7 (not 8) and Cam Position Sensor A/B on Bank2
I thought I got a little aggressive...
I have mine sitting in the garage. I haven't gone through everything. I'm doing OPG/CG right now. I read/seen things that would indicate that there aren't fuel rails or spark plugs (pg 18 #59 (complete kit) -- install supplied spark plugs).
When I ordered the Whipple, I was under the...
I did a search, most posts seemed focused on "what's your insurance cost?". This thread essentially said "why would you tell them?" http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26518&highlight=Insurance
But I'm curious for those who have $15k-$25k+ into their cars, are you seriously driving...
So I should have a Whipple here soon. I plan to install it myself.
I've already read that having long ball-headed Hex are helpful to bolt the Whipple down.
I plan on doing OPG and Crank gear. From Ford's service manual, they recommend a crank positioning tool.
What other tools can you not...
I just picked up a pair and I've read the stories about FRPP and DSS showing up with loose bolts. Anyone happen to have the torque specs/sequence/etc on FRPP half shafts. Want to ensure mine are good before putting them on the car.
Thanks!
I currently live in CO. I work remotely, HQ is in CA. I need to stay in Pacific/Mountain/Central time zone for now. So that leaves me TX or NV to move to (no state income tax). I've narrowed it down to Vegas area or San Antonio area.
I don't particularly care for Vegas, but all I've ever done...
