Thank you everyone for the replies - I went ahead and picked it up and will have the plates installed at a later date before I track it for the first time. They did not have the tool which @Cammer referenced. Will post some pictures of KR277 soon!

I am suppose to pick up my new 19' GT350R tomorrow at the dealer (out of state... so a long commute) and I got a call saying that they did not have the right tool to install the camber plates and would have to order it (saying it was a special tool). It is a small dealer (sells trucks to...
Clearly the focus is on the GT500 today (as expected)... but the MSRP of a GT350R just went up $5K also (920A is now $12,995 vs. $7,995 (for 19)). Makes sense... Ford wants more of the profits from these cars.
Agree with you, R's values should remain stable / trend up again.
Anyone be willing to share their perspective on the 19' R market (haven't seen much discussion)... R market has definitely softened (I would say significantly). I have recently been floated an offer to order a 19' R to my specification at MSRP.
Thoughts?... while I don't think this is a...
My GT350 is now in its 3rd year of storage (for 4-5 months at a time) - my process is as follows:
Wash & car cover - note that you want to ensure car is very dry (let it dry for a day) before putting on the cover or you will trap moisture, moisture is your enemy
Battery tender - works great...
To me, at this point... I am not sure how anyone can be "disappointed" with the numbers (we don't know more today than we did 2 weeks ago!). Ford is playing it close to the vest and squeezing as much out as they can (which is what we all want) - they didn't release #'s for the GT350 (a new...
I have a 2018 Expedition (wifes car / family hauler) and it has the knob... I actually really like it. I also have an F80 M3 with a DCT. To put it in park... you actually have to turn the car off... or have to treat it like a manual and put it in neutral and pull the hand brake - interesting...
PP003 was at Mecum Indy this year (but did not sell I believe... bid to $65K)... do you know the owner?... know where the car is now?, if it is still looking for a new owner?
I have 17 TY GT350, black stripes, black roof & electronics... love the car but would like to upgrade to an R version...
I have experienced this. It happened when trying to get through a 6 month old tank of gas after being in storage for the winter. I did use fuel stabilizer... full tank of BP 93.
Was always between 2,500 & 3,500 rpm at moderate throttle. I assumed it was the gas as I have not noticed it since.
I think it really depends on how tall you (and your wife) are... I have a forward facing full size car seat in the back (behind driver) for my 3 year old... and a rear facing infant carrier for my 9 month old behind the passenger.
I am 5'6" and my wife is 5'5"... both sides are a little tight...
Although you clearly invested a lot of money in these parts I can't see it really commanding much value in the secondary market... maybe if your 17 with 10K miles is worth ~$50K... all the parts get you to $52-53K... Maybe a little more for a person looking for exactly that setup. I would guess...
I got 2.79% for 72 from PNC... (that was a year ago, I shopped around a decent amount)... rates have gone up around 40-50bps over the past year on average based on my general observation.
PNC is still offering 2.59% for 60
Paying $580 per 6 months with State Farm, 7,500 annual mile limit (no other restrictions, HPDE not covered)... $1,000 deductible with standard coverage (100,300,100)
I live in the area... Batesville, IN (only about 45 minutes to downtown). I moved here from Indy (I saw a decent amount of them there). Haven't driven her to Cincinnati yet but have thought about it at some point - would love to check out your R (only seen one on a showroom floor).
I have 17'...
I received mine this weekend as well. '17 GT350 (H1846) that was built and delivered in September '16 (one of the first cars built not effected by the recall).
Another very nice piece to go with the original owners supplement!
I would say no... very few 19's will fit that are not high end wheels (or designed just for GT350) because of brake clearance and the GT350 also does not have common offsets (and are different front and rear).
