I just left my GT PP2 for a GT350. I can tell you the biggest difference that made me want to pay the “Shelby tax” is the drivetrain. First the obvious, the tremec trans is night and day. (It’s tight and precise.) Same with the voodoo motor, it just feels stronger, and the sound is a whole other...
I know right. On any other vehicle, obviously its no big deal. However, I can't help but think, a lot can happen in 24 miles on a GT350...
My dealer is making me an offer I can't refuse on this car. There are about 6 leftover 19's in my area, and so it looks like the dealers want to get rid of...
Definitely will look at doing trans fluid. Is it a pain in the ass to change? I honestly haven't even looked for the drain plug location yet, lol. I heard a lot of people running BG SS II with good results, but I also seen somewhere around here a decent argument that a quality DCT trans fluid is...
I was able to get a few more questions answered from MGW directly. If anyone was wondering their shifter doesn't affect any features on the 2019MY cars (Digital Dash, REV Matching, Reverse Camera, etc.)
The flat stick option is also exclusively paired with the X-SPEC shifter. They say this...
I forgot to mention that. At about 700km's in I changed the oil and filter to Mobil 1 synthetic. I was actually thinking about doing it again now just to see if there's anything in the oil... I also added a catch can at about 800kms.
Thats kinda what I figure. I just went on a 1600km round...
It does, I changed my oil out of the gate and when the guy started putting more then 9 in, I was like, "Are you sure?" lol, It definitely was a wide eye moment... Took about 9.75 and sitting just over halfway on the dipstick.
Got just over 2500 km's on the car now. A few of my friends always ask me when I shift into the higher RPMs, "Whoah, aren't you breaking the car in still?"
I've always driven brand new vehicle's off the lot like I would drive them for their entire life. That being said, I don't abuse or bag...
I've found myself pondering this very comparison... I just bought a PP2 and put 350 lowering springs and 325's in the rear. The PP2 suspension and handling IMO is on PAR with the 350. The PP2's are really the poor mans version of the 350 in that sense... The value for the money in a PP2 car...
I promise I searched and read a good chunk of this forum for the answers to these questions.. lol
1. With the push down reverse function, will I lose my reverse camera feature?
2. Does this shifter affect the factory rev matching feature? (Sorry, this is probably a dumb question...)
3. I'm...
Took a road trip this past week through the Okanagan valley. 1800 kms so far...
The car is performing well. Very sticky. The coyote is humming along, lots of power and decent fuel economy for how I'm driving it. The interior is comfortable and the upgraded leather seats are pretty good.
My...
I just got off the phone with a Mishimoto tech. he shed some light on a few issues that have come up in this thread...
1. My OEM cap not clicking when installed on the new tank. - Mishimoto says that somewhere along the line just past the 17' MY, Ford tweaked the cap design very slightly. So...
I added a 50/50 mixture using bottled water. I put in less then 1.5 litres to get the level in-between the min/max lines...
As for the cap, I'm actually concerned about mine because there was no "click" when installing. It' just bottomed out, there's a tab on the tank and a tab on the OEM cap...
So I need some clarification on the coolant product I was given by my Ford dealer... I upgraded to the Mishimoto coolant tank and as such need to top up the coolant after the install. I told my dealer I had a 19' Mustang 5.0 and so he gave me this product...
This product is orange in color...
I have to admit, these front Rokblokz are nice. Well made, quality hardware, solid install. This is coming from a stubborn guy that would rather repaint panels then run mud flaps. These front 305's throw rocks pretty good so I had to give them a try...
