  1. Terrible AC smell. Help pls

Hey all. My 2017’s AC has been smelling off (sporadically) for about a year and a half now. I’ve replaced the cabin filter a couple of times, also used 2 products I saw recommended in this forum [see pics], still no improvement. Some comments that might be useful: - The smell is a...
  2. MUDstang vs Mustang Hill Climb

I was thinking: "are those freaking spacers" then I got my answer, lol
  3. BG Syncro Shift II; safe/good for Diff?

Thank you. I assume something like THIS, would be adequate? Since it has additive, I guess using the BG Universal MGC on the tranny would be the way to go?
  4. BG Syncro Shift II; safe/good for Diff?

Thank you all, will not use the Syncro on the diff. What would y'all recommend for a daily driven S550 with occasional track days (maybe 4-6 a year) living in AZ. (preferably something I can get at a local shop, since I'll be doing this today) Also, should I use the BG modifier (Universal...
  5. BG Syncro Shift II; safe/good for Diff?

Hey all, I just bought 4qts of BG Syncro Shift II for my tranny oil change. I also bought one 6oz bottle of BG Universal MGC. IF everything goes according to plan, I'd have 1.3qts of Syncro left over (assuming I don't use the modifier, and the fluids chart from LMR is accurate). Seeing as the...
  6. Another GT to Brembo thread. Help me make an informed decision.

Nah Regular black. The dealership ended up ordering Explorer calipers (non-brembo, hence the price). But that same week I got a set from FB marketplace; really good condition, low mileage.
  7. Another GT to Brembo thread. Help me make an informed decision.

I think it was 480 for calipers, pads & rotors
  8. Questions for those who upgraded from base to Brembos.

yeah, we did a FULL flush. RP, RD, FP (in/out/in), & FD (in/out/in). After it was finished, we bled each caliper a little bit on an empty, clean bottle to make sure all the fluid was new. No bubbles. Reservoir never got even close to Minimum level, we were on top of that shit. The car brakes...

    Technical Service Bulletin
  10. RUST!!!!!!

My 2017 developed that, and even though it was out warranty, I found a TSB here that the dealership accepted (they were fighting hard to not work on it)
  11. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

Awesome, that's one of the models I was considering, but wasn't sure if I could change data/program with Forscan (with a laptop, of course) using this one. But if it works, then it might be worth the cost if I can use it for dual use (diagnostic and programming) I used a friend's MX yesterday...
  12. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

unfortunately I don't. I was looking into adding the switch a couple of years ago, and didn't feel like experimenting much on my new car with the lack of data there was back then. I'll dig around to see if anyone has been able to successfully add memory to cooled/heated seats.
  13. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

Thank you very much. what I meant for the OBD2 was: Is there a scanner/adapter that will work with iPhone (for Diagnostic) AND with Laptops for programing. My bad.
  14. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

I think I know the answer to these questions (to be fair, I've gone through a bunch of pages here, but there's too many). Is there a way: - have sideview mirrors tilt down when in reverse? - Have tire temperature? (I assume it would have to be interpolated from TPMS) - Fixing a volume down/up...
  15. Questions for those who upgraded from base to Brembos.

Quick update. I did a couple of brake tests with the onboard computer. Running Michelin PS A/S 3+s (square 255s) outside temperature is mid 50s, regular road (not bad, not great). 60-0: Best result: 2.9s 106ft 1.05G Average (WITHOUT the best): 3.1s 120~ft .97G I believe my best is pretty much...
  16. Questions for those who upgraded from base to Brembos.

I’m hoping to do some ā€˜real’ test braking soon. I’ve been getting out of work late (with a lot of stuff in the car), plus streets have been wet lately. I’ll add that for daily driving the brakes are doing well. My only concern is for track use, but I haven’t had a chance to hard brake on the...
  17. Questions for those who upgraded from base to Brembos.

I decided to use the ones in the car since they were in better shape than the ones that came with the brembos (used kit).
  18. Questions for those who upgraded from base to Brembos.

we just did the old fashioned stepping on the brake and opening up the valves method. As suggested in a video I saw, I was pressing the brake pedal 3x each time before opening the valves. Right now, the brembos have 2 washers per caliper (one per side of the ā€˜block’ in the line)
  19. Questions for those who upgraded from base to Brembos.

Hey gang. I installed my brembos this past weekend, and even though overall I'm content with the install, I have 2 prevailing questions: 1- why do I have 6 left over washers? - I bought 4 washers, as most people recommend, and installed all 4 new ones (learned the hard way, lol... the...
