I was thinking that if a red/brown scotch-brite can ‘overwrite’ those scratches, I should be good, as I understand those pads are not aggressive enough to damage the rotor. would this be a fair assumption?

What about rear brakes? I might have a warped rotor (can't see any warping, but my car started vibrating while braking), so was thinking of upgrading rear rotors too, and might as well get a set of rear calipers to paint them. What about pads for the rear?

Based on the rear, those don't look like the Continental 4 pistons found on non-PP GTs, plus yeah, the GT ones have pistons on the front as well. My guess is the OEM V6/EB caliper.

Update 2: Decided to replace the bulb, even though none of the filaments were broken. New bulb fixed it.

Quick update, left the positive terminal of the battery unplugged for a couple of hours. Nothing change. Not even a clock reset. I'll try later with both terminals unplugged. I'll also try new bulbs, since it's a 2017 car I suspect they are probably going to go bad soon.

Well, this poor car has lived in Florida, Puerto Rico and Maryland. Can't attest to where in FL, but in PR and MD it has lived less than 30 minutes away from the beach. HOWEVER, the rust started appearing this past winter. Although I understand this also happens in dry non-coastal places too.
