Interesting it would make that much difference. Good to know! I guess as I Q-Tip the grille I'll try to remember all the gas money I saved while collecting bugs and dirt!
"This just in..."
I would hope those on this forum already know these readily available details as they have been in every one of the countless news reports since the 2019 Bullitt reveal. (As the incomplete information you Googled doesn't say) the other car was found and revealed alongside the...
It does make the angels sing, babies giggle, and kittens more fluffy. The Bullitt is a unique style of Mustang. It is a welcome contrast to the badging and bling that many Mustangs have. My opinion, YMMV
Even if they actually only get 5 or 10k ADM, asking $20k makes the fool who "negotiates" a deal down to 10K ADM feel like they've won the deal. Good for them, I guess.
My heart sank when I saw this grille up close at the FoSMC car show in June. For some reason, on the left and right sides of the grille, the honey comb has a back. This is going to be a pain to clean. I wish they would have left them all open so there weren't corners to collect dirt.
Between...
At the start of a "limited run" there is always this hype. As you learned the hard way in 2007, if you want a car at or below MSRP, you can get one if you're willing to wait. I've seen it with GT500's, Boss LS's, GT350's, and it will surely happen with Bullitts. There will always be a couple...
The link i posted above has a window sticker of a UK car with Magneride. The car is VIN# 1FA6P8K05K5500250 so your dealer should be able to look it up too. There are other examples that I saw when poking around yesterday, this is just the first one I found again.
Don't forget when people ask about his car (the A10), and inevitably get to the "Manual or automatic?" question. Based on the owner's answer, the reply is either "Cool!" for manual, or "ohh.. cool..." for the automatic. Happens every time.
The automatic may be faster, but the Bullitt is, and...
Interesting. This lines up with what I heard from the Ford rep at last year's MCA Grand National- the special edition cars are numbered in the order they come down the assembly line, not in the order scheduled or anything else.
I had hoped Ford would find a way to coordinate it, it seems...
Your dealer has free allocations for the GT premium. The Bullitts are being schedule separately, it is priority based on your dealer. Sounds like you were stuck waiting for your dealer's turn to have its Bullitt allocated. Completely separate process than the GTs.
an almost 14 minute video for that little fishtail? Thank goodness for high speed scrubbing. Click bait video, lmk when someone hits a curb or bounces off a K rail. Lets see how well a carbon fiber wheel bounces down the road.
Ps- agree on the exhaust. It is sad.
Guess I don't see the point about not sharing numbers. What is the point of keeping a low number a secret? I don't see why it matters if you're #3 or #12, or why anyone would be worked up about it.
No problem at all, I understand where you're coming from. I think by next year after production ramps up, and hype dies down, it will be much easier to get a Bullitt. Hopefully dealers will be willing to negotiate below MSRP, so it may work out for you boomee. Its happened with the Shelbys, I...
Rant: The comments about "its not going to hold value" and "its not worth it with the ADM" continue on and on. Seems like its from people who can't get a Bullitt and want to feel better about it.
I (and most others) don't care what the Bullitt is worth down the road, I know it will depreciate...
