Bullitt allocation priority comes down to dealer volume (unless you know the right people to get moved to the front of the line). My Bullitt was ordered 3/26, and I got a VIN 5/19, while a couple larger dealerships in my region were allocated first. Later orders, even in Canada got scheduled...
Yes, you are right. We are all dullards, you are the smart one. Congratulations! The issue wasn't with your trivia question, it was your delivery. Then again, maybe we're all just too dumb to cope with unclear subject lines and open ended questions about commonalities between cars that are 98%...
There were a number of people who had ordered 18's before the cutoff but their dealer didn't have an allocation to get it built. As mentioned above, these had to be re-ordered as 19's. It would be up to the dealer to give you any rebates, Ford won't be offering rebates (or as high of rebates)...
Sigh. Mustang1260, this would have been a lot easier had you just listed the COA as a part of your original post. Great if you want to discuss it, but trying to fish something out of people with your vague OP is a joke.
What do they have in common, well, wheels, a steering wheel, seatbelts...
Well, from what I've gathered on the forums, if you order after this week, your build will be the week of 7/23 or later. That depends on your dealer allocation, order priority etc. Then once the car is built, you'll be queued up at the rail yard waiting for a full train, then travel time, unload...
I don't have an exact answer for you, but even if you ordered today, it is not likely you'd get a date scheduled this week. Once it is built, it will be a few weeks until you see the car (depends on train car schedule, where you are, etc.) I'd wager if you ordered today, you're not going to see...
Congrats Mustangworks! Are you scheduled yet? If not, it is a guarantee it will arrive after Aug 1. Cars scheduling this week will be built the week of 7/16. (info from the thread you started on BoF)
It's interesting, that for the most part, everyone has the same suggestions. They're the same things that bother me: red calipers, chrome window trim, giant Bullitt logo on the trunk and steering wheel, and (lesser issue for me) the black wheels. Seems a little customer research could have gone...
Still waiting on my Bullitt to be scheduled. My dealer has an allocation, but I am still unscheduled as of 5/11. Others have dates, even some in Canada. Frustrating to not be on the schedule when I ordered day one, and was certainly one of the very first orders submitted. I know 2 or 3 Bullitts...
Hate to rain on the parade, but Motortrend's recent test off of a 2018 Mustang GT PP1 and the 2018 Camaro SS 1LE wasn't great for the Stang. It won the dirt road drag race, but that's about it. The Camaro had much better stop distance, 8 track time, and lap time. "To put it bluntly, the Camaro...
Bullitts should be: 1FA6P8KxxK5xxxxxx (Bullitt, maybe you can help fill in position 8 for the engine type and 9 for the check digit)
Regular GT Coupes should be: 1FA6P8CxxK5xxxxxx
