Truecar is a broker. If you use some skill and do some investigating, you can negotiate for yourself. 2017's are now advertising 4-6k off MSRP on cars.com. Use them as examples to lower your cost of purchase.

Cars.com has many 2017's with anywhere from 4-6k off MSRP already. So great deals on the 2017's are out there as well. I called a few to see how legit they were and had a few quotes sent to me. These prices were without the other incentives you might be eligible for.....

My msrp was 42220, 39,400 is what I negotiated too. So you look to be in line. Some may get a better deal, but I'm comfortable paying that cost.
