I think they are to cushion the hood support bracket. So, they go between the hood bracket and the hood, past the Steeda logo, towards the front of the car. If that makes sense.
So, I changed the reverse light bulb to LED today, which requires dropping the rear diffuser... Of course, it's collected lots of dirt and small rocks and leaves. Does anyone have any tips on cleaning the diffuser while it's still on the car, or do you always have to raise the car and remove...
I have this one for use with my Mach 1. I use the Daytona 3 ton stands. Jacking rails make it easy to raise up.

I had FP struts on my 17 EB and no problems, thought they worked great. FP struts on my 22 M1 and I didn't like them. The fender mounts wouldn't torque so they would twist. No issues with lifting the hood though.
I now have the Roush struts. The install is a little more involved, but I...
I went with the McMaster hardware. All the ford parts sites said ships from manufacturer once I added them to my cart, so I don't think they actually have them in stock. McMaster hardware should be delivered Thursday and for less than what Ford wants.
Does anyone know the part number for the longer Gurney flap bolts? I installed the flap today and while attempting to torque one of the bolts to the recommended 5.4nm, the T20 bit slipped and rounded inside the bolt head. I can't tighten it any further, so I'd like to get another one of the...
I can't speak to the 2nd day events, but the 1st Track Attach day is not a ride along type of class. When you get to the track sessions, you're usually in a group of 3 M1s following an instructor in a white GT. The laps start slow but can get up to a decent clip depending on how all three...
Back in my college days, I ran my 87 LX in F-Stock. Years later I ran my 98 GT in ESP due to welded in sub-frame connectors. I plan to hit some cones with my HP Mach 1 this spring, but I'm confused as to which class it would be in. The rules say all 21-23 Mach 1s are F-Street, but then...
In general, nothing. I had the FP kit on my '17 Ecoboost without any issues. On my M1, my Dad (original owner) installed the FP kit, but couldn't get the passenger side bracket to tighten/torqued without it spinning, so the bracket was always turning and had scratched the paint pretty good...
Replaced the FP hood strut brackets with a Roush hood strut kit. Reused the FP struts, as they look better IMO than the no-name struts that come with the Roush kit.
