Well I believe the 2nd shift resonance maybe it was said in this thread is from the reverse lockout and the shaft rattling up against that as they are so close. And a design that eliminates that would definitely fix it.
Thanks. That looks pretty good, especially in orange. So sounds like overall quieter than stock...how is it not totally silent? Just overall NVH like at high RPMs?
This totally fixed it? No resonance or rattle in any gear? I had an MGW in an MT-82 and it rattled awfully in 3rd gear. Do you have a link to that shift knob perhaps?
I have the exact same issue in my shifter. The squeak from 1st to 2nd has become obnoxious and so has the rattling in 2nd. Tried the fixes in the auto fanatic youtube video to no success. I would do the MGW if it were not so short. Feel like I'd have to hunch down just to shift. IDK why it is...
With the battery cover yeah but without the cover seems perfectly fine. We needed to cut the alignment dowels on the new tray by about half and some spacers around the holes for it to sit level and proper. Plus had to make the holes in the tray a little bigger to get to the factory mounts. They...

I figure I would make a post about this. If anyone didn't know, the new S650 has a larger 48 series battery and also AGM. So I bought the battery tray and other needed parts and obviously the battery since I don't like having such a small battery. The tray needed some minor modifications since...
So while the AC does blow cold, when it gets super hot here in Central FL, it seems it can't keep up with it? It was like 104 here a month back and while driving on the highway, I wasn't feeling any relief really with it set to recirculate, LOW, and on the 4th fan setting plus ventilated seats...
I updated via USB, uploaded the .xml file and nothing happened on the site. Still said an update was available and also didn't display what version it thinks I have. Then I tried doing it in the car even though it is on the latest and it said no update update available. Had it connect again just...
Just got a '22 GT. Took the engine cover off and was surprised to see the intake plenum is painted black...has anyone else noticed this? Is this just a black painted regular Coyote intake, or maybe they had extra Mach 1 intakes lying around?
