Not the R's. The R's are stickier than the SC2's. I mean they have a tread rating of 100, which is just legal. 180 for the SC2's. I've heard the R's only last 3k miles of street driving...
Actually, FYI, I have no one else but myself pulling the "purse strings." I just find it moronic to spend $2K on tires that last 10K miles.
Based on what I've seen in all other forums, the SC3's last around 20K miles, which is at least double what the SC2's last. I suggest you do your own...
I didn't want to go down to the PS4S's; the Eagle's are in between those and the SC2's, very close to the SC2's. They are standard equipment on the SS 1LE and ZL1 FYI.
After 14K miles on 2 sets of Sport Cup 2's, I switched to the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3's, and they are AMAZING. IMO way better than the Cup 2's. Same lateral grip, way better grip in a straight line (I mean NIGHT AND DAY...for whatever reason, my 2 sets sucked in a straight line but...
So is the race spec standard pretty similar in height for the handle? Just a lil bit lower? Is the low-profile and standard x-spec about the same in height?
Awesome picture! For an SCCA track event, how would I go about renting? Just the day of? Like how much is that? Yeah hopefully someone will be there kind enough to let me borrow a torque wrench. Never even used one before to be honest. I have a tire guage and compressor covered though. But in...
The first blip will be loud but then it goes back into normal right? That’s what happens on my GT. But I also honestly don’t notice any difference if I do that. But I also don’t have this new GT500 haha
I really wonder why the Youtuber said that his kept the settings between startups. But that’s what I figured...Chevy doesn’t do that so I hate that Ford does that. Granted the Chevy’s aren’t as loud...Lol
That's what I figured because I'm like that is really excessive. Yeah I figured the diff fluid should be changed if it overheats as I said. Yeah I've had my car for a year so it would be time for a brake fluid change. But if it's still clear...?
Driving it there, it is my daily!
Getting new tires next week so that's covered. At that time I will check the brakes. I would do an alignment but I also don't want to do one and do another one for back on the street, you know? And it's already less than -1 camber which the PP2 manual even...
