Hard on him? His opinions are very highly affected by his bias.
His choice of talking about weight is wrong now just like when he was talking about the Fusion and new Mustang.
The vette was not overweight, the 5th generation Camaro is. Big difference.
I find it funny that you're talking...
I'll take Car And Driver's guess over yours..
"Comparing the wheelbases of the Camaro prototype and the Impala—that specific image suffers less perspective distortion—reveals the test mule to have a roughly 109.32-inch wheelbase."
You're optimistic on Ford for everything and pessimistic about Chevy. I've seen it in multiple posts. No point arguing with you. Yes, I have seen the spy shots. I'll make sure to chime back in when weight is reported. If it's 4,000 pounds, Chevy can count out a bunch of buyers and it will flop...
Again.. You're making things up to suit how you want it to be. Curb weight for the base Camaro SS will not be as much as a V-sport CTS.
Sit back and watch the SS Camaro weigh about the same as the Mustang GT.
Kid? Grow up. Who ran 11.5 with the GT500?
I'll agree with you that it's deceiving not including destination in the Challenger price, but is on the GT500. The rest, blahhhh.
Don't waste your time crying, I'm sure Ford will come out with something faster really soon.
Dude.. What are you talking about? The SRT Challengers with the 6.4 time over time get the posted Dodge numbers and better.
It clearly states "Fastest Muslce Car Ever with a NHRA-certified".. Ever think it is the fastest NHRA-certified and if Ford and GM do have NHRA certified times, they are...
I see nothing deceptive about the charts (59.9k. Whoopty doo. Let's find something else to whine about).. Sounds like butthurt. All three monsters are great cars. SRT Hellcat, GT500, and ZL1.
I'd get a new Mustang or Challenger if I wanted a good mixture of performance, interior quality and features, exhaust sound, looks, and overall drive.
Flat out performance.. Just buy a used C6 for same price.
Personally, I'd opt for 2015 Challenger or Mustang for my needs.
Buying a Camaro or Mustang for the sole reason of performance makes no sense to me. Are you going to the strip with it or racing it?
I'd add exhaust note, looks, and the interior to the reason I'd buy a car as well how it drives. Many cars are similar in performance.
You guys should just...
Mustang Owner, your posts are pretty ridiculous to me. Way too much emphasis on acceleration and acceleration for price.
I'm not even going to look at your links, but just because the car costs more doesn't mean it's overpriced. Again, way too much emphasis on performance. I'm betting you...
^The cars will be very close in performance to a point where I think it will come down to the driver. The LT1 in the Camaro will probably not have as much horsepower as in the Corvette, just as the case has been with the LS3, but it will probably have more than the Coyote. Camaro seems to be...
So we're going to go back almost 50 years and compare cars with different engines and options? Talk about the heaviest corvette, but mention the lightest Camaro? Sound slike the Camaro was very stripped down..
"Base 12437 V8 Coupe 3135 (column 3-spd.)
Base 12467 V8 Convt. 3385 (column 3-spd.)...
I don't buy the Corvette used to weigh more than Camaro part.. Can you show the numbers backing that up? V8 to v8 comparison. May be true(tough to believe), but I can't find it..
