Before the Whipple I had the Reische installed with Lund tune and my CHT never went over 200. My Stage 2 kit came with a 160 degree TS that I swapped in because I didn't want to do anything that would throw the tune off. I feel like I should have kept the Reische in because my CHTs now hit...
finished my OPG and Whipple install yesterday and drove around all day with no codes. Then this morning I went to drive it and got this code. Seems weird to get it all of a sudden. Going to call them once they open.
FYI the code reads Crankshaft position System Variation not learned.
The manual says there is a fuse tap but there isn't one in any of the bags and it looks like it should be attached to one of the harnesses but it's definitely not. I'm looking at page 58 of the manual if anyone can help. Thanks
Anyone have some tips or a tool out there? I tried walking it back by spinning the crank clockwise but it kept walking off of the AC pulley. I think it might work if I had someone holding it into the AC pulley but I'm wondering if there is a better way.
Thanks,
Joe
Does anyone elses Fans sit on the sides of the heat exchanger like this?
Also does everyones pulleys have the writing facing the front of the vehicle?
Thanks for any help.
Anyone know what the dampener to crank bolt torque is for the ARP bolt? Below is the factory procedure. Read something online about 155 lb-ft but couldn't confirm what year that was on.
Stage 1: Tighten to 140 Nm (103 lb-ft).
Stage 2: Loosen 360 degrees.
Stage 3: Tighten to 100 Nm (74...
Just finished my OPG install and the dipstick tube broke off right under the valve cover. The yellow part is still in the valve cover and I have the dipstick in place. I can't see why it would hurt to run the engine like this but wanted to see what others think. I can't get a new tune until...
Finally had some decent weather last night. The DA on the first run was 900' and the rest were about 5-600'. The only thing I did different from any other run was power brake the crap out of it. It felt much better doing that. I know lots of folks on here say not to but it works far better...
Hey guys,
So I have a Whipple coming soon and have a few questions.
Does it come with oil and/or Coolant?
Any tips or something I can prep or do ahead of time? Obviously I will pull the IM and bumper ahead of time once I know it's on the way.
Going to go ahead and pickup and couple...
So I'm ordering a Whipple Stage 2 this week and I'm wondering how many people get the 1yr warranty. I called Whipple today to confirm that it's covered even if I install it. Seems like a good piece of mind for $450. I'm probably going to do it but I'm just curious what everyone else is doing...
First pass I left the AC and Advanced trac on and tires at 36psi :headbang: Not even showing that time slip. FYI I'm running 305/35/20 555Rs
on the 12.7 run I was at 32psi and left off idle (auto car)
on the 12.5 run I dropped to 22 psi and left at as much as I could with the stock...
Pro Dyno was doing pulls at Mustang Week. Weather was horrible. DA was around 2400ish according to drag times. I expected better but I know every dyno reads differently. Hoping to get to the track this Friday so that will really tell the tale of course. Auto, Full exhaust, Air Raid intake...
I need to take the pieces to have the bottleneck removed. Anyone have measurements from doing the same thing? Going under the car now to see if I can figure it out. Thanks for any help.
So just finishing tuning with Lund for the GT350 IM and stock TB. Is it unusual for them to get it "dialed in" on the first tune? They didn't make any changes from the original file. I know they do this all day every day. I'm just asking for my own piece of mind.
Also, they set the rev...
Installed the Intake manifold yesterday and just got the tune from Lund today. I do not remember here this before I loaded the tune. After some research I've learned that this is the IMRC. You can see it move slightly when you hear the noise. Getting a P2014 Engine Code now as well...
