I have a question for the group. I have a non-PP GT that I have installed Steeda progressive handling kit - stage 1. It has been about a week and I am ready for an alignment tomorrow.
I see on the alignment sheet in this thread that there is a spec for the PP cars and one for the non-PP cars...
Here's another data point for you all:
Before: non-PP with 19" tires [50th anniv] Fr: 28-3/8", Rr: 28-5/8"
Immediate After: Steeda progressive Fr: 27-0", Rr: 27-5/8"
After settling [TBD]
I don't know this firsthand, but single digits seem unlikely. My last vehicle was a factory eaton-charged 2002 Harley edition F150 super crew. It had a supercharged 5.4 liter, 3.73 rear end, and weighed near 5000 lbs. I got 12 mpg in city and 15 on highway. I'd think the Mustang would do at...
Y'all got me scared. I ordered the Steeda Stage 1 progressive sport kit, vertical links, sub-frame alignment bushings and billet rear sway bar brackets. I'm hoping I got my order in before all of you! If not... the Easter Bunny may be delivering it rather than Santa Claus!
I have Premium GT non-PP with memory seat buttons. They are in front of the door handle. Mine has the 50th appearance package. I didn't think it was part of that package though. You don't have Recaro seats do you? The Recaros are manual adjust, so wouldn't have memory function...
+1 vote on the Pittsburgh 3T from harbor freight. I'd recommend getting the following items also:
1) From Harbor freight: Jack cross beam. http://www.harborfreight.com/steel-floor-jack-cross-beam-60762.html
This will span your rear IRS frame and make lifting the rear of the car easy so you...
My guess is someone used a non-water-based plastic dressing on it at some time. Wash it good with a quality car soap and see if that doesn't fix it. The dealerships' detailers use weird products sometimes.
I guess not many... no one seems to hang around beside me for long. Maybe because I'm ...
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin',
we're gonna do what they say can't be done.
We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there.
I'm east bound, just watch ol' "Bandit" run.
Keep your...
I believe they can. I did the Steeda bushing support (stiffners) at the same time. Those required jack stands and allowing the suspension to droop. However, once that was done I installed the IRS braces and there was no need to drop the IRS. I think you are good with just ramps.
