My guy charged me $350 to decontaminate the paint, clay bar, paint correction, polish the paint, and then put two coats of CQuartz on the car. Normal around here is about $400-500. But there are shops that charge $1,000+ too.
The stuff really does work great. I have it on all my vehicles...
The Blaster just has a hose you have to move and control near the painted surface. Whereas the leaf blower will be harder to control with its weight and bulky size. It will take a lot more effort to keep off the surface of the car. I hope the unit I bought will move the water without being...
The reviews seem to reflect just that. The smaller units are great for motorcycles and getting water out of cracks. But fail at clearing water off the entire car.
So knowing people have used leaf blowers, and I have a lot of Dewalt 20v stuff already, I bought a bare Dewalt 20v blower...
Has anyone used the Blaster Sidekick, Chemical Guys blow dryer, Metro Vacuum B3-CD Air Force Blaster, or anything else? I was thinking of trying one of these due to their smaller size and cheaper cost.
I will say I have a ceramic coating on my car. I rinse the car in a way that most of the...
The harness bar you show in the original post is a nice setup. It could easily be unbolted between track/autox events.
I have not checked out the Watson harness bar mentioned above. I had only seen the bolt in roll bar they offer. I will have to look into that as well.
That is correct. If the harness rear mounting points are too low they could cause your spine to compress in an accident. I would check with Schroth to see if they address this. I have not looked into them at all. So I can not say if there are a good option or not. I know I saw a company that...
I received your email. Let me know what you find out. Or if they have a signature. I already asked everyone here and no one here remembers signing for anything that wasn't UPS, FedEx or USPS. If they have a signature of someone here I will order another one.
Thank you for the help.
I ordered a trunk handle off the Space City Spy website using the link posted. I and received a confirmation number on June 24 from Space City Spy. But I still have not received anything. The shipping method says "standard shipping". The tracking number doesn't look like a tracking number I have...
I road raced my 2011. The CJ actually helped me on the Autobahn full course as I was able to use the higher RPM and shifted less. Even with the stock intake, I don't think I was ever below 4k rpm. Not with power made up to 7700 rpm. So loss down low definitely didn't outweigh the gains up top...
CJ losses down low like that as well. But stick cars are gonna launch at 6k or more anyways. So all gains. An auto car will need a stall to take advantage of it. But no different than a CJ.
Driving around town is where you are going to notice that lost torque. But will it be that noticeable...
Actually, I looked and mine were from Groit's Garage. But I doubt they are really different. Maybe they are? The raffle one I got was a generic brand and worked well too. I will say you have to keep them moist. They don't work as well dry. I use Sparkle glass cleaner with these and don't get...
That is one way to go. But you would probably be better off with these two BMR kits. If you don't have them already.

For windows and mirrors, you might want to try something like these. They work so much better than the MF towels. I won a different version at a car show raffle. I was so impressed I bought the Rag Shop versions so I had more of them. You know, typical with my rag collection/obsession. haha...
I like that you guys did that. Because you only see them showing their kit results from stock to their kit with a tune.
I have used your MAFs since you guys became to be. Mainly of dem old foxbody. lol I am sure when I swap my intake manifold I will be swapping to your intake system as...
Someone is bad with math (torque gains incorrect in the video) but that is stout! What was the boost increase for the final numbers versus the baseline numbers?
That is why he asked if you meant heat shield. That is a heat shield, not a bracket. The 2015+ kit uses more of a box then a shield like that.
But yes, it would seem you have a 2011-14 kit these. Looking at the heat shield and elbow.
I saw that a couple months back somewhere. I laughed when I saw that too.
Bart is good people. Seems he is off to a great start with the car. :headbang:
oh and RPS FTW! Those guys are awesome.
