Have you tried to push open your gas flap with just your fingers? Go out to your car and try it now. It should not open with just pushing on it. If it does it is broke.
Two sides of the filler have tabs that must be pushed to the side to allow the flap to open. That is why even a 5/8" fuel...
GM says they got the 10 speed to upshift as fast as a Porsche with the PDK transmission. That is great and all. But it is not a true dual clutch transmission. So it doesn't down shift as fast. Or allow you to go up, down, up, down, down, up as quickly as a dual clutch transmission. So it still...
Having the right frame of mind is very important. I have buddies that get pissed, throw tools and what not. Before I get to that point I always step away, grab a drink, and come back at it. Many times you instantly see what you were missing or doing wrong. A second set of eyes is another thing...
I agree. Some people like specific styles over others. Same with brands. Maybe VS will have more and more designs being released. Different designs may appeal to more people. But there is no doubt that the price is great for a fully forged wheel.
The car has stock springs on it now. I have BMR "minimum drop" front springs and rear springs to install yet. I think they lower the car about .75" up front and 1" in the rear.
For comparison, his is a buddies car UWISHU1 His car has the same springs and similar tire diameters. He does have a...
And the community appreciates it. You are helpful and give info to members who have purchased from other vendors as well. Stand up person for sure. :headbang: The pricing is a bonus.
Thanks. And I agree. No remorse at all for buying these wheels.
I think you should raise the price some. I don't want too many people running around with the same wheels I have.
I believe Paul said if there was enough demand they would consider doing these in a 19". I would think these would be popular with the GT350 guys as they are forged and very light for a 20" wheel. A 19" wheel should be even a little lighter. So we can hope a 19" GT wheel. As well as a 19" GT350...
Thanks. I am happy with the way they look on the car. I am glad I waited for them. Especially once I saw the concavity of the front wheels and their weight.
I figured I would share these as they are the first set of fully forged VS01 wheels for a Mustang. Paul @ N4SM set me up with these wheels. The finish is brushed titanium, tinted clear. They are 20x10 and 20x11 wheels. With the backspacing that Paul uses for a pretty flush fit. The wheel weights...
That looks great. No doubt.
If it is licensed by Ford it is probably a 10% licesnse. We are not talking a lot of money. They are charging a lot because they don't have much competition on the part. I have to admit, I think this is the nicest version out. But I wouldn't spend $100 to own one...
It is nice when you can drive a car like this on road trips and get decent mileage. I have not had a long road trip in my 2015 yet. But with the 3.15 gear (auto) I can get 28-29 mpg per tank (93 octane) if I keep it around 65-70 mph. It really does well when you can keep the engine rpm under 2,000.
Damn, that is light for a wheel of that size. You can tell where they really went at it to save weight. Like around the lug nut mounting surfaces. sheesh. Very cool.
21.2 lbs. for the fronts. But close enough. And they look amazing!
