Seemed to be seized in place. What your tricks ?
So far I heated them up and hit em with some deep creep
to soak overnight.
Also, the passenger side looks like a bitch to get too. Can
it be done without removing the factory header ? Thanks !
Only took 8 years hahaha.
Things I learned:
Bias plies slowed me down
Drag radial is the fastest/quickest tire on my MT82 car
Drag radials are also tricky to launch on. There's probably a 1.5x in there somewhere
So big racing this weekend (cash days), and decided to go Iridium instead of platinum.
I remember the NGK platinum were factory gapped to .052". These are gapped to .043".
It clearly states "DO NOT GAP" . Fine by me. Mild mods, 7800 RPM shift point, no blowouts
hahaha.
Asked for a "deep research" on the hood vents, this was the findings. Pretty interesting read.
Hood Vents on the 2017 Mustang GT: Heat Extractors or Pressure Relief?
The 2015–2017 Mustang GT (S550) features factory hood vents on each side. Ford’s own materials call these vents “hood-vented...
So decided to dump my former 28x11.5 MT ET STREET R Bias Plies and go the radial route.
Radials are pretty chill on the street (even with the pizza cutters up front), the bias were
not hahaha. . I run em at 30 psi.
So question for the manual trans peeps who run these at the strip, at what PSI...
Buddy of mine has a 2024 Mustang, he washed his car (touch less carwash) on a fairly cold day (-15°c) , exited , made a left hand turn, heard a snap and the front driver side collapsed. Long story short, lower a-arm broke and the rotor broke in half. FORD said 5 weeks for parts. This is how it's...
So Motul MULTI DCT was on sale at my work, and with my discount I bought 12 1L bottles of it.
Over the winter I'm going to change out the trans fluid again (first time at 30k, now at 60k).
SO is the Motul MULTI DCT the good stuff for my MT82 ? Thanks :)
Would even have known. Tightened fine, but have a few miles would come loose. Anyways, ordered some rivet nuts and hardware and I'll do both. Never liked the fact one was screwing into plastic in the first place.
So anywho up here in the great white north this is a 600 dollar 'premium ' car cover.
Inside the box there's the cover, and a piece of string to use to secure the cover.
No proper tie down cable or storage pouch.
Pay a premium price, get the cheapest shit possible.
So when calculating size difference in the MAF housing, you'll want to calculate the cross section, correct ?
EG:
For MAF housing with a diameter of 88.48 mm, the radius is half of the diameter, which is 44.24 mm. Using the formula:
A1 = 3.14159 * (44.24 / 2)² ≈ 1527.46 mm²
For the MAF housing...
