Thanks for indulging my Glitch in the Matrix investigation, folks.
First car had a black rear spoiler for sure. That's what caught my eye on the first car, making me think it could be a PP2. It had the distinctive V8 sound, so definitely a GT.
On the second one, my eyes immediately went...
Is the PP2 rear deck spoiler unique to the PP2?
I had a 'glitch in the matrix' experience the other day, where I saw two magnetic metallic mustang GTs, both with the same black PP2 style rear spoiler.
Oh, no. Licence plate screws don't go into any substantial structure, just the bumper cover.
The bumper cover is cosmetic and mostly held on by plastic clips.
That's a disaster waiting to happen.

I have long had a problem with marking my tires when I change over from snow to summer or vice versa.
Chalk rubs off too easily.
Grease pencil is difficult to remove. And I can never find one when I need it.
So I designed this.
It goes over the valve and is held in place with the valve...

That doesn't make sense to me. I'd expect a narrower tire to need more pressure, not less.

When changing from the 305/30R19 summer tires to 275/45R19 winter tires, what tire pressure should I use and why?
The sticker in the door jamb says to use 33 psi for the 305/30R19 OEM size tires.
Possible, but it would be a very odd coincidence that the '67 was there again when I got the letter.

I just don't understand the thought process that gets someone to...
This is an interesting development.
Yesterday, Sunday morning, I was at this place again. The green '67 was there too. Yesterday I parked on the other side of the parking lot, not at all near the green '67.
When I returned to my car a few hours later, the green '67 was gone and I found an...
Reminds me of a close call I witnessed on a similar 4-lane road. As required by law, I had stopped at a crosswalk to let a woman, her toddler, and baby carriage cross the street. Another car came flying by and nearly struck the carriage.
It was just a close call, but it stuck with me.
