Well I did it over the weekend. Found a good deal on a roush axle back and installed it on Saturday. Wow I am making some noise now. Loud but only when you want it to be. Sounds great with the res delete and h pipe.

Reading all the comments has me wondering if the feel in different modes is also present on manual mustangs. Mine is a manual and I haven't switched modes enough to tell a difference. Actually what happens in the car when switching modes. Mechanically or electronically??

I have stock exhaust with res delete with an h pipe. Sounds great when car is cold but once everything heats up its real mellow. I am installing an axle back this weekend. I do not have active exhaust.

Surprisingly it's not that loud outside, but very loud inside the car all the time. What are your plans now? Just leave it. Do you have a h or x pipe also?

What is the max you would pay for a shop to install an Hpipe. Don't have tools or space to install mine. One place quoted me $230. It a mustang performance shop.
