  1. Intake manifold

As I understand it, it has been done and yields some gains (20-30whp IIRC depending on octane), but they are minimal compared to the cost... The cost of the CJ IM itself isn't much but it's not compatible with the 350 TB, so you need to buy the specific TB it works with... If I recall right...
  2. Has anyone actually done before/after dyno numbers on aftermarket cams on an NA car?

As the title says... I know a couple have done or planned to do camshafts, curious if they were worth their weight in aluminum ;)
  3. 2020 GT350 "track use" warranty exclusion

FWIW - IIRC all 17+ Camaros are covered for track use - if I'm wrong then it's just ZL1s and 1LE pack cars. GM won't cover Vettes tho (cuz the Z06 overheats lol)
  4. End of production of Shelby GT350/R after 2020. Will resale price climb?

13 years isn't enough time for a 500 to become a collector car, especially not a modern one. Ford built TONS of GT500s since 2007, so it wasn't a hard to find car to begin with and it wasn't long enough of a time that too many were crashed/hi miles/etc to necessitate a high value. Not to mention...
  5. End of production of Shelby GT350/R after 2020. Will resale price climb?

Admittedly I bought my car (at least in part) because I anticipate it to hold value... I didn't buy it and then say I expect/want it to. That and I buy/sell so often that I'm pretty in tune with the market
  6. End of production of Shelby GT350/R after 2020. Will resale price climb?

It'll be way less valuable because of volume. roughly 10% or less are R models. I agree that the 350s in 19+ will be more valuable than 16-18 MY 350s, but they simply won't hold value as well as Rs because of rarity. Additionally, As the car ages, collect-ability will matter more than how it...
  7. Cat delete pipes

B-Line wants $1k for resonated test pipes? .... Hard Pass Can buy M2 headers (made to order in the USA and known good fitment) for much less - about half. Hell, big brand headers aren't much more. If I'm spending $1k I'd just buy M2 headers and pay for the install. My goal was to buy something...
  8. Adding camber to a 19+ 350R

They do but per the post I put in the first post, they won't always get to -2.2
  9. Cat delete pipes

This is the main thing I was looking for. I did LT headers on my '17 Camaro SS 1LE along with a filter and tune only to find a friend did cat deletes, a filter and tune and made withing 6hp of my car but spent about $1k less in parts and a way easier install, so I was hoping this might be the...
  10. Cat delete pipes

I'd be doing stock cat-back - I know it'll be loud but it's not a huge concern for me.
  11. Cat delete pipes

Curious if anyone has done just deletes and what the dyno difference was with a tune? In my experience with some other modern V8s, deleted cats (with a tune) gave 75-95% of the gains of headers at a fraction of the cost (not to mention a much easier install), so I'm just wondering if there's...
  12. Adding camber to a 19+ 350R

Thanks all - ordered the BMR bolts last night. I want the -2.2 for now as I'll be running PSC2s and they tend to like less camber than some other R-Comps. If/when I want to go with NT01s, SC3Rs, R888Rs, I'll look into more camber with the bolts or buying plates. I'll also just be leaving it...
  13. Adding camber to a 19+ 350R

I believe the strut tops are just "less adjustable" than aftermarket, but agree - they are camber plates. Sounds like I'm buying BMR bolts then :)
  14. Adding camber to a 19+ 350R

So after having a shop try to do the factory track alignment on my '19 R, they were only able to get -1.8L/-1.9R out of the car. Funnily enough they got the rear camber just fine. I looked into why even with adjustable strut tops they couldn't get more and found this thread -...
  15. North Carolina Continental Extreme Contact DW 305/30-19 (pair)

And ship to CA? hard pass man. Not worth it at all.
  16. Selling gt350.. do you let someone test drive?

I apologize for devolving this thread into a "350/R vs Mustang" debate. Wasn't my intention at all. I've owned 80+ vehicles and honestly they're all just cars... all of them. Even the stuff like a PTS 911 GT3 Touring or something that is technically 1 of 1. Yeah I'd be unhappy if someone...
  17. Selling gt350.. do you let someone test drive?

Sure, but it doesn't mean it won't make potential buyer's concerned or annoyed enough to not buy the seller's car or perhaps not buy one at all. Value of the beholder is in the eye of the beholder. Actual value can be shown by edmunds, nada guides, or similar cars found on autotrader. People...
  18. Ticking noise, speed dependent - (not from engine or front end) - Sounds like coming from under center console...

Took it to the dealer today and this it what it was... Well it was the driveshaft, not half shaft, but still. Same thing, a sticker.
  19. Selling gt350.. do you let someone test drive?

I ran into so much of this when I was buying... GT350 owners are a weird bunch that way IMHO. I ended up taking a risk buying my 350R without driving it. As I only was able to drive a 350 (non-R) and that was only because it was used and at an Alfa Romeo/Maserati/Jaguar dealer so it wasn't a big...
  20. Ticking noise, speed dependent - (not from engine or front end) - Sounds like coming from under center console...

I'll check the thread, I will say that I didn't hear it more or less while turning and updated the original post to say so.
