biggest issue with the 2018+ roush is heat soak. they have show that these can make decent power for 1 pull. then lose a ton after that as the IATs shoot over 150+ and take a long time to come back down. which is compounded even more if you been driving all day to the race. then you want to...
im no pro, i tried a few different launch RPMs and methods ran this car roughly 20 time boosted maybe 5 stock. on a stock car there isnt a ton to mess with for launching but then again im still learning.
simmer down sea bass lol. even if you want to say the vortech helps 0 at launch which we can say that. its still tuned, A10 with 3.55 gear. i got 1.7 60 in 1215 DA and in 3000 da.
what did lund say? most of it is going to depend on what they are commanding in the tune. i wouldnt assume an issue unless the tuner says it looks like there is an issue
i bought extended warranty and GAP when i bought the car.. they gave me crap when i took car in to be looked at so i canceled it, wont buy extended crap again. probably good for peace of mind if you dont like to do many mods
it is the flaps, it is present with the stock system,
My opinion/theory is that the Motor/Spring are not strong enough to hold the higher flowing exhaust as mine become worse with cat delete and actually broke my exhaust valve. i have removed the active and run a standard catback.
1. you can they just pull more timing, IMHO better to go E85 first.
2. No flex fuel. will need E85 Tune and a 93 tune
3. the 6 rib is plenty to make that power. stock 3.6 pulley on E85 should be about 800whp
4. Number on their site
5. shift points set by tuner and their preference. drag mode...
