Well I just got back from the dealer, the car is good now. The "new" bumper fits well and they didn't damage anything in the swap process. Turned in the BMW today and going to pick up the keys tonight! :ford:
Looking forward to hearing this as well. I'm kind of hoping it's a slight bit tamer than the FRPP Touring exhaust where some have been reporting that it's a bit too loud and can have some drone. If that's the case, this exhaust may fit the bill for me.
Not at all. To prove it, these are the only cars I have ever owned:
1998 Honda Civic LX (not a bad first car - great suspension setup, so it got me "into" cars)
2005 Mazda3s (the 3 series of the econo-shitbox class)
2005 BMW 325i ZSP (my first BMW)
2009 Infiniti G37s (poor-man's 3...
Mine arrived with nearly perfect body panel alignment which has plagued the S550 from the beginning. So I think they are getting better. But the front bumper was molded poorly and stuck out a quarter inch past the passenger side headlight to the point where you could actually look into the...
Okay, so just got back from discussing the bumper issue with the dealer. They agreed to take the bumper off of the other Mustang and put it on my car. I think that's the best option given it's factory paint and I know the bumper is in good shape.
I am very pleased with the panel alignment on...
I don't know if this really fits as an "alignment" issue but my car came in today and upon inspection I found the front bumper on the passenger side was bowed out compared to the driver side. The result is you can actually see into the area behind the bumper itself. It looks pretty bad.
I...
Bad news :( inspected the car this morning and the front bumper cover is warped under the passenger headlight. I have to meet with the body shop on Monday and they will see what they can do. Also this car was one of the ones that gets pulled for a road test. They put 116 miles on it!!! Not...
Dealer called, car's here! :D Going down to inspect it & draw up the paperwork today, then it'll probably be a day or two before I can take delivery (have to do the lease return on my BMW).
I have had the same experience. My dealer has not provided one single update since ordering aside from a couple emails from the fleet manager (and that's after I drove down and tried to get information in person). I'd say I'm very disappointed, but I am conditioned from previous experience to...
Shame, sorry you are having problems from day 1 after that kind of wait. Is the spoiler delete listed on the window sticker and they just misbuilt it?
Also if they do end up having to paint the car, at least you have black - likely the easiest paint color to match. You'd probably never know...
It's pretty simple, GTs get the spoiler that hangs off the edge of the trunk lid. EcoBoost models get the one that ends at the edges of the trunk lid. Both models have options for spoiler delete (included with both performance package models). GTs will not have EcoBoost spoilers and vice versa.
Something else to note. I surveyed the lot and was on the lookout for panel gaps and window alignment. I found one that had the window a bit off and... meh. It didn't really bother me. Even the cars with panel gaps slightly off I thought were okay - after all, it's a Ford, not a BMW. So unless...
FordService here on the forums. My dealer has never provided any updates.
I went down there though... my car wasn't there but the manager did say that if it really is on a truck then it should be here tomorrow. Now I have to scramble to de-mod my 328i so I can turn it in to the dealer before...
I found out that my car is actually only about an hour away from here as of this morning. It's off the train on a truck. Got to think I won't be waiting another 5 days... going to drop by the dealer tonight to see if they have anything more specific. :D
 I am so paranoid that something will be wrong with the car when it comes in that I am purposefully holding off on it. If it ends up okay I am going on the world's biggest shopping spree when I get it home :D
