Fellow BMW to Ford guy here as well :) I have noticed the same thing. I bought a 328 (the 4-cyl turbo version) and took some flak for it. Loving the Stang so far though. Puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel. (even just sitting in it when it's parked in the garage :crazy:)

If I were you I wouldn't be getting my hopes up in that regard. Why would Ford pay to fix your mistake? You bought a manual car and money shifted it. User error, case closed. You should have to pay for the repairs. :shrug:

It's fine. In fact I kind of like it and so far prefer it to the iDrive system that was in my 3 series. If you are proficient using any kind of computer, you'll have no problems.
